I disagree, We cannot compare the Token Shop, which we can purchase once ever 12 hours with the Crystal Shop which it seems to me is every 30 minutes or so. I have counted only two releases of the cookies in the Crystal Shop. Those were hoarded and now sell in user shops for about 50million SP. The Token shop in this respect is fairer.

@Hollieangel The achievements won't retire! Just the items will stop going out at the end of the year (how is it already december!!!!). There's no plans to bring them back in the future on the books. Like they could come back, but I wouldn't bet on it any time soon.

i’m one of those people who spends millions on tempest lightning rods trying to get a storm cookie never got one. but this is a community that i love and cherish, and i don’t regret pumping money into the subetan economy! it’s like college debt forgiveness, just because i have spent loads of money doesn’t mean other people should have to. (and if you don’t support that, we will not see eye to eye!)

@Amber Do the achievements retire at the end of the year, or just the cookies themselves? I am one of those that would like them as wearables and for the achievements so I'm just deciding which way to get a few I still need and I can't for the life of me remember if it was said whether the achievements also retire. 🫣

Also y'all need to remember the cookies are not just for the achievement. Plenty of people need more than one for treasures, feeding to multiple pets, the wearable, etc. Yes, it's great you got the achievement! But once you feed that to your pet, it's gone off site.

Thank you! I had been lucky a bit back that the rift spit its cookie out for me but I needed a second for Goku to eat. I got three rift cookies today. Tempest had visited me multiple times and still no cookie from her. So I hope I can snag two storm cookies. ❤️
Yay! Cookies. Thank you. :) (for those upset that they spent sP, I have had many many item values deflated by having them put in the free shop or the crystal shop or whatever. I've also seen a lot of things increase in price greatly because of scarcity. Prices fluctuate all the time; don't get too stressed about it.)

I just feel like achievement collectors have never been taken seriously, if it's by lowering requirements for achievements (like the snowballs) or making the achievement easier to get after a while, we, the collectors, put a lot of effort, we need to be the best in every aspect, if it's with the collections, battling, wardrobe, everything that subeta has to offer, but yet, we are barely counted us, so I wish that some achievements would have been be protected as much as the value of a legendary weapon for example.
So yeah, I felt a bit meh when I saw the news post, but it's not the end of the world.. sorry about that.

@Marlboro 50-100? Why do you want to lock the majority of active users out of those achievements forever? There's no reason for stuff like this to be "tough". It's a celebration of the anniversary, and it gets exclusive books that will stay desirable indefinitely. If only a small handful of the people here this year could ultimately get the achievements, that would... suck.

That's the thing with Subeta; you have to be careful with your purchases. When you make big purchases, understand that you're paying for timing. At any moment that rare item can become common. That is exactly why certain items remain on my wishlist. These two cookies were poorly released, and that was obvious a few days into it. It was stated in the news comments that these particular cookies would be revisited later to get more into circulation. The writing was on the wall.
I didn't expect there to be an abundant supply, but I'm glad I'll be able to get them now.

There can be a lot to keep up and I don't recall the announcement of making them easier to obtain eventually. I actually thought people said it was glitched and The Tempest was supposed to give them out on the first random event. I thought the item you could buy for a ton of sp was also 100% way to get them too. I personally didn't spend money on trying, but yeah I think this was a special case. Collecting is one of the few things you can do on Subeta and maintain that the initial challenge for these was too high and discouraging for a one time event.
Thank you very much! If people had the sp and didn't want to wait, they could of course buy the more expensive ones. However, for some, it is not as easy, like in my case, I get nearly all my sp from quests because shops yet another thing that overwhelms me. Fortunate that people gifted me a few as well, but most, I did get from the original way. Point is whether people bought them, or got from the various places and such, and even with these ones now being easier, I think we all worked for them in some way.
The tempest blessed me with one of her cookies a couple weeks ago but the rift refuses to share. Thank you for this!! I just need one more from the crypts and I can get my achievement ❤️

I remained all chilled waiting for the mentioned "other way". Even though I also agree, that they still should have remained quite a bit harder to obtain (See Shark example).
(Yet hoping for the Storm Cookie before the odds are turned down to 0,01 , rofl)
Btw., I am under the impression, that the Rift, since the cookies were introduced, spits out nothing a lot more frequently. Which is fine for me as well, even though damage to all the retired items' worth has already been afflicted :-(

Oh my YES! Thank you so much. I am glad to have a different way of getting it. I've been visited by tempest 4-5x since the Anniversary release and visited the rift almost every day with NO LUCK! So having this other way to get these last two cookies and complete my achievements is wonderful! Thank you thank you thank you!
as someone who also spent a pretty penny on one of the cookies, it definitely does suck to be out that sp, but at the same time, that was the price to pay (heehaw) to have the item at that time due to its scarcity and i was willing to pay it.
while i won't say that it's so easy that one will have hundreds of millions in an instant, making sp isn't especially difficult, one just has to be consistent with trying. it's possible to come back from what was spent, so i can't (personally) see a point in getting particularly upset over it.

@Amber @SubetaTeam Thank You so very much for making it possible to be able to get this cookies, I do try my hardest to work on achievements but at times it can be hard for me because I do lose my focus a good bit of the time and by the time I remember about whatever achievement I was on it retires. I expected like a limited of 50-100 to be given away, but now it's just like any other cookie.

Finally there was a tough achievement, but now it's just easy like others, what's the point of achievements if some of us, especially the hardcore collectors, can't hold some rare to get ones?

I wasn't aware that the cookies will retire at the end of the year. (Makes perfectly sense though if I think about it.) Can anyone provide a list where I get which cookie? Just slightly freaking out a bit...

The idea was to work for these, just like the others. The others you did have actively work for (play slots, do quests for points, etc etc). These were the only two that were purely random based, and I always knew that would be difficult for people. I wasn't going to adjust the odds on the tempest pool just like I wasn't going to adjust the rift. We do want achievements to be achievable because it's not likely they will return. It's like the shark bait item, you can get it from fishing but also a tiny chance from a quest (I was dumb and messed the odds up at first but that has been updated!). These can still be achieved from the RE or trying the rift. 🤷♀️

I don't want to be that guy, but these were almost impossible to get until now. People spent millions upon millions trying for them. Yes these were random and people knew it, but I honestly think this should have been done much sooner so they didn't have to waste their money.
Got 2 cookies in 15 quests but of course they were both the same. So I just bought the other one since the prices have plummeted. Nice. Thanks.
