SURVIVAL IS HERE
As some of you older zombies know, when you choose a strain you get thrown into a queue before you are properly infected. To make that time go by faster, you can get bitten by zombies on the Survival forums with that same strain. You will see your queue status on the VIP page!
Skitters only requires your hard earned sP while Louis will want any candy hearts you receive from kissing users.
You can now create a kissing booth on the Survival Forums.
When you create a new topic, you'll have the option to make your thread a booth. Note: Once a booth, always a booth. You can't just turn it off.
What are the limits to kissing, because lips need to rest! You can be in 3 kissing booths as a regular user, 5 with a gold account. NPCs like Qazim and others will be joining booths to give a kiss or two.
You'll be able to see interesting stats like most kisses given, most candy hearts, as well as other features like a quick chat and a kiss feed. We hope you enjoy!
You can choose any stage from any virus you have already unlocked. We can't wait to see how y'all incorporate some of the middle stages! Rachelle will have this feature available year-round. :kiss:

my only complaint is, usually louis l'amour is my favorite shop every year but this year it's a bit lackluster ;~; only one top in different colors/patterns and really no other outfit pieces. :c

I love the fact you can get frozen stages of previous viruses to wear again! I loved the third stage of Sickura and wanted to be able to use it again!

Hi, the Rachelle in the Underground is really confusing. I thought I could go through and buy all the different stages and they would then live in the wardrobe as skins I could take on and off. Instead, you can only buy one stage at a time and if you click to buy another the previous one is gone. I have plenty of sp so no big loss but I just wasted a lot of time buying stages for no reason and I'm disappointed I'll have to go to Rachelle in the Underground if I ever want to use a different stage.

That said, it is a bit hard to see the strains right now, with the thumbnails being so tiny, and some of them blending in the the background (like Lotus on dark theme). I clicked on one hoping for a better preview and just purchased it instead.

@Jack -- the kissing booths now have a "spread the love" feature where you can automatically kiss the person with the least amount of kisses, and it also gives you one less minute on your cooldown time. so hopefully that'll help!
@Marcus -- I like "Innoculated Viruses", I feel like a name like that would more clearly show what the feature is meant to actually be. Even "Virus Regression" would be better I think. When I saw "Age Regression Treatment" I went "what???" because I immediately thought of the trauma response thing first. I hope I'm not being weird in saying the current name is kind of uncomfortable. 😖

Being able to use the in-between stages is awesome! Been wanting a feature like that for years. Not sure how to feel about the kissing booths. It's definitely more organised, but people can definitely get missed or favoured. Posting in forums meant you were mostly guaranteed to get kisses/dances/flowers/etc. from the person below, unless they were being stingy. Maybe it's just because I'm not the most social person but it feels kind of weird to join a group rather than just post "claim" on a thread lol

I'm very excited for Survival--it's easily Subeta's most unique holiday and it's always a lot of fun to see the viruses progress! The option to change your HA to show a middle stage of a virus is also a FANTASTIC feature and I'm eager to see what people do with it.

What about something like "Mild Cases" (as in, "a mild case of the flu") or "Innoculated Viruses" to indicate that it's a weaker form that won't progress further?

I got the 503 error but refreshed the page and eventually was able to click on the 25k 'any 2026 virus without the wait' option. It's telling me I am now incubating Fresh. It did work for me, it just took a few refreshes.
