Fewer Clicks for Achievements
Hello everyone!!!
I went through every achievement on the site looking for the ones that asked you to do the same small thing hundreds or thousands of times, and there were... many. Pumpkin Deleter wanted 1,000 pumpkins deleted one at a time from each pumpkin’s own page, while the quick stock delete button sat right there and didn’t count.
Achievements are supposed to give you something to work toward. A big number is fine when you can picture getting there, and pretty disheartening when you know you never will or that it's going to take a wrist injury. Rescue Volunteer went up to 100,000 minion feeds. More than 16,000 people have started it, and one person has finished. That person deserves all the applause, but for everyone else the last tier was out of reach.
Some of you did it anyway. You pushed through thousands of clicks you didn’t enjoy because an achievement told you to, and that’s on me. I made these, and I’m so sorry I made you do them. Really!
Quick stock deletes and donations count now, for Pumpkin Deleter, The Ether, the Rift Staff and Charitable.
The Bonfire, Free Food and the balloon donations take a whole stack at once.
You can feed a stack of Black Candy Bars or carved pumpkins in one go, and Cheater Cheater Pumpkin Eater tops out at 100.
Leave a Flower counts the days you visit the memorial, up to a year.
Kissing, dancing, trick-or-treating, TP and egging count different people, doors and houses instead of the same ones over and over.
Throw a Snowball tops out at 1,000, with a new tier for hitting 100 different people.
Forum Posts tops out at 10,000.
Rescue Volunteer and Vending Maniac top out at 10,000.
I know this stings if you already put in the work. The prizes from the tiers that went away move down to the new top tier. Where a tier got lower, you’ll get it the next time you do the thing, so don’t be surprised by a pile of achievement events. I hope you can appreciate that the people playing now won’t have to do what you did.
Everyone who had already gone past one of the new top tiers gets 1,000 Cash Shop Credits from me, with my apologies. That’s 1,000 per account, not per achievement.

What a fantastic change. I'd completed quite a few of these but they all became a slog in the end. They're more achieveable now, especially for newer users. The CSC is very kind too and honestly not needed! Thank you Keith.
There are alot of good improvements lately :)
We all become older and value others time more ^^
To be honest I feel nervous about "Food or Drink?" every day, because it might retire when everything is sorted?
I am just at 1,426 of 11,442..
Blackheart Stalker - 300 seems impossible to me. I have got 21 in 15 years and even felt very successful already lol
Scrollwright - seems also impossible
And I would like to make a suggestion towards food items.
Maybe I am the only one who has problems with it, but: I have a whole gallery with food my pet has not eaten yet (2,032 unique items in the gallery lol). I can only feed 10-20 items daily, because of the food limit and it is soooo slow going down. I know we can reset the food counter once a day for sP, but that does not help much.
Could there be a slight help? Or one day, maybe at Christmas, where pets might eat as much as they want? :D

I finally free from TP and egging T^T I only did those cause the achievements, but honestly, nothing happens when you do that so... not very rewarding to do (Dancing shows both avatar in a ballroom, kissing gave you currency, snowballs modify the other user avatar...)
I went to check my CSC and have +1000 so I guess I was of the onescrazy determinated enough to grind my way out of some of the achievements.

@Keith I'm sorry honey the name of that achievement is "Free all the Fairies" free 1,000 fairies.
I remember doing pumpkin deleter by hand. I deleted a 100 pumpkins per day, until I reach 1,000. I remember doing the fairies too, but I would release all the fairies that I caught that day. Good times!

WOW thank you. It was a lot of time and effort, some over many years for me to get some achievements, but I have no issue with you making it easier on newer players because I wish it had been that way for me!! :) <3

@Keith what about the Snow Fairies? You know the release a 1,000 fairies. Does that achievement get a quick button too?
I tried to do 1 more vend( receive title, but not the
Miniature Vending Machine prize).

This is a lovely change, thank you so much!<3 I have done some stupid things for achievements before, it's nice to know others won't have to now. This is also giving me some motivation to try finishing achievements I gave up on personally, I'll have to check the new tiers in the morning. :D And thank you for the CSC!

@Rocketlauncher I think I'm having the same problem. I was still working on the Rescue Volunteer achievement and don't seem to have gotten the prizes that were moved down, and nothing seems to trigger them D:

What happens to the achievement prizes that got adjusted?
For example, the book "The Perils of Being a Gingerbread Man" got updated from 50k to 1k, but the "claim missing rewards" button said I'm caught up.

@Synth according to leaderboard, we were 11 users to have achieved top tier of Rescue Volunteer (I was very proud of having it too). But I know for sure Farmer was actually the only user to have achieved that highest tier BEFORE the trapped minions change, which means they actually went looking for each and every item minions asked. It must have taken years and lots of sPs !

I can't find anything to complain about making achievements easier for others and getting a surprise 1k csc! Thanks Keith!
I'm very impressed with this update. I've never seen another game consider how wrist-breaking their achievements are and compensate their players for it. Thank you for changing it and for making Subeta such a wonderful place to be!

I really like this change, since I mostly didn't do any of those (though apparently I did at least one).
One that I don't see listed that I've put off for its wrist-breaking nature is "Are You Not Entertained?!" for taking out 500,000 bugs in Bug Guy Joe's game. :sob:

I am among those, who refused to ever bother to go for the snowball achievement, got the book another way. Maybe I'll try now.
I think, that's basically a good thing. If the people who spent years on getting the high number achievements receive a second copy of their prize, that is a fair reimbursement, I feel. The CSC on top is especially kind.

Wait, I was done with the top tier of Rescue Volunteer - was I really the only one? REALLY? I can't believe it. Thank you so much for the CSC though and I'm not upset at all! That is some really generous compensation. I wasn't anywhere near done with snowballs though and I was really dreading it, thank you for saving me from that!
I figured someday I would pace myself through all those achievements, but with all the new general ones we've gotten this year it was looking a little less likely it'd be any time soon T_T
