Layout Update
You can now change to the Dark Matter layout scheme.
Also, we are still working on everyones suggestions, and tweaking the layout slowly. There are some pages that still need to be fixed, and we are working on them.
Just keep in mind, the old layouts are not coming back, so stop asking for them, polls, etc, etc. They will not be readded to the site, and this new layout is here to stay.
We have worked very hard to bring you this layout, so please do not say you hate it, or that it sucks and you are quitting. We understand that its not perfect for everyone, but if you offer suggestions that will make it more likable to you, we can update it to suit everyone more.
Also, remember that we will be adding more schemes as time goes on :)

I <3 the new DM theme. It makes the change to the new layout a lot easier to handle.

I guess it depends on your point of view heh, but it would be nice if one could reach the shopping links without having to search for them among other apparently unrelated links, ya know when you're doing quests and things? Ah, the DM version is much nicer since it replaces the grey with the purple. Great job, guys!
Oh and I really like that the little items are in a random code up by where it says your name, vault and active pet.
I changed mine to the darkmatter layout because I had the low bandwidth darkmatter layout scheme before. I will just be happy when my profile and pet look ups do not have to be scrolled way down to. I tried completely clearing my profile and even that did not work. I think it is because I have such a long user name. I think this darkmatter scheme is very pretty and purply. I much prefer it to the blue as I was used to seeing my links in purple. <img src=/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif border=0>

I don't think the random items would slow down the site, I think it's a pretty simple code to make it do that. Like, if you play Gaiaonline, some people with a whole ton of pets would use that code in their signature to display all their pets one at a time.

i have not always agreed with what Keith has done and indeed have disagreed with a lot of things, but the new layout i believe is a move in the right direction. it is clear and quicker to load much clearer to read and like all new things it need streamlining but that will take time. so all you knockers should let the job be completed before you start to complain. Give them a chance i think you will enjoy the end results

BOTH of the new layouts are great. I really love the darkmatter one though <img src=/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif border=0> Yes, it took a few moments to get used to, but they are awesome. Totally great job done on both of them!
The only big thing that's really bothering me is this white cage we're now stuck in. It's caused a bit of chaos with profiles. Any image wider than it, and it plumits to hell. Is there some way we could fix this restriction?
