love the item, but i've never heard of anyone smoking DRUGS out of a hookah! wtf guys, i have lots of middle eastern friends who have a custom after meals to smoke sheesha out of these things. its like flavored tobacco. I don't smoke anything or drink alcohol, but I like decorative bottles and stuff...and....surprise, surprise, one can actually find beauty (in the bottles designs at least) out of the ugliness of the bad habits. I am not a big fan of real life drinking, smoking, ect. but these are just graphics and this site has (as I understand it) always been a PG site and/or geared more towards older people. I think some people are taking some things here wayyy too seriously but on the other hand I can understand the concern...even though I don't have kids I have given a lot of thought to it before at different times so I do on some level understand concerned parents feelings. I'm a big fan of Alice In Wonderland (a fantasy/"kids story" that features a hookah at some point) and hookah bottles, even though I have a low opinion of smoking.
Hookah's aren't only for drugs, people. They're very beautiful, and also add a nice spice in a cultural house. I'm anti-drug{Never done, never will do} but I don't find these too be pushing the idea at all. Though I must say, when I first saw them my thought was, 'Darn it, the comments are gonna be full of complaints =/' Sad to say, I was not dissapointed
I had a hookah back in the 70's and I did try to explain that it was decorative, a work of art (it was made of silver crystal), yet when my mom came to visit I felt the need to hide it (LOL could be she saw right through me)
The reality was that there was all sorts of illegal resin in the bowl and I was wasting my time by putting lipstick on a pig!
Of course there is drama about the release of this item - and I have no doubts that the drama was gleefully anticipated by some folks.

I'm personally rather anti-drugs, but these are super pretty. I think I'm viewing it as more of a cultural thing than a drug thing though..
I am absolutely in shock at some of the comments on here about this new item. To state that having a drawing of a hookah on here is encouraging the use of illegal substances is the most idiotic thing I've ever heard or read. GROW UP. Some people have these in their homes as decorative pieces (and some of them are indeed beautiful if you have ever travelled outside of your little world) and and nothing more. If people have nothing better to do than write on here about how much they don't like these items they really should get a life. Books are out there to read, sew, paint, whatever but please stop looking for something bad everywhere. Yes, my HA is wearing the hookah and yes he looks stoned but I assure you I personally have never smoked a joint or taken any other illegal substance in my life. However, I do know how to laugh and have some fun!

DLMulsow, Subeta already is a PG-13 site <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_wink.gif" border="0" /> It's said in the Terms and Conditions of the site.
LOVE these new wearables! And hookahs can be used for many things, not just for smoking pot. Try going to Morocco...they're everywhere and they are mainly used to smoke herbal fruits and tobacco. Yes, you can choose to put cannabis in it, but it is NOT it's intentional use. People need to stop getting butthurt over the simplest of things. So we can have stripper poles and titty tassles but hookahs are a no-no? Give me a break.
People say they don't necessairly contain drugs but look at what it looks like on the HA.

Well, I am an American adult and this hookah definately reminds me of a 'bong' used for drug consumption. LOL
I also gave my 8 year old access to the site thinking it would be fun for him to play/interact with the pets, etc. I actually thought it was a site more for children.
Since first playing on the site, I have stumbled across sexually themed items and religeous/political items as well. I will be monitering the childs use of the site from now on.
My suggestion (as a site owner too) would be to limit access to the site for people 13 and older.

I must say I'm surprised at this. After seeing the item on a user, I have to say the drug references on the wearable and the descriptions are highly questionable. I wasn't aware Subeta supported the use of illegal drugs and controlled substances. Disclaimer might be nice, I don't think anyone wants to lose the site again.
I'm going through, reading descriptions and I looked at how it looks on the HA. My best recommendation would be to put a disclaimer on the site about not supporting illegal drugs.

They're not illegal, sure they can be used illegally but that is not what they're primary use is for. People who are butt hurt about it just want something to whine about. Seriously, stfu.

I'm surprised so many people are getting so offended by the opinions being given here (mine in particular, since that's what I'm paying attention to). I'm not trying to cause problems. Just voicing my opinion in what I considered a friendly debate.
