hmm... im afraid i really dont like the spots... it looks like some sort of rash to me... maybe im just strange or something.. I really do love the rest of the artwork and the pose and all... but i really dont like a chibi pet with a rash...

I believe there are chibi pets cuter than this. I actually don't think this is very cute at all, even without being biased because it's a ~jollin~
It doesn't show very much attitude at all, the expression or the pose. It's just like "Hello I am just laying here" and nothing really... exciting.
EARS ARE ATTACHED TO THE UPPER SIDES OF THE HEAD. In this, its head is at an angle, so the ears should show such. They don't, though. They almost look like they're posed for if it were looking straight at you, but obviously it's... not. In all honesty they hardly look attached to the head <i>at all</i>.
The front paws are also really awkward... like, it looks as though they don't even have paws at all, just toes... no "palm".
And, mind you, this is honest criticism, not hatin :U

Wow, the art for this pet is beyond amazing. It almost looks real (in an obviously cartoon-y way, but still, it's amazing).
