I was being facetious with my comment; I don't care who gets a tribute or not, as I hardly know any celebrities, including most of the ones who have received tributes. I didn't expect Dio to get a tribute because Subeta's generally too young for music like that.

First off, RIP Rue...

I still don't get why people are complaining about Dio... I understand he was a big name, but Dennis Hopper died recently too and didn't get an item. Not everyone's going to get one, and rather than complain about the people who didn't get one, shouldn't we appreciate the ones we do get? It just seems a bit rude to leave complaints about lack of dedication to one person on a page dedicated to an item honoring another person's memory. Just my take, though.

I think we should have gotten a tribute for Dio, I mean, I think being the lead singer of Black Sabbath is a big enough deal? But, I say this as a Sabbath fan, and someone unfamiliar with golden girls. Still, rest in peace Rue. Its a lovely free gift.

@Griffin and Count, I *think* the truth of it is that we have to be familiar with the person in order to do a fitting tribute. I mean, The Golden Girls meant a whole lot to me specifically. There's no way I wasn't doing a reference in some way. But(and I don't think this makes me a better person or anything) I've personally never heard of Ronnie James Dio, at least not before he died, and I wouldn't feel I could do justice to his memory to just draw something up for him. I dunno. I'm sorry he doesn't have a reference, but it's not personal against him.

Thank you for this item. The Golden Girls was my favorite show as a little kid (on its original run, showing my age here). I'm with you Cardshark, so sad that Betty White is the only one left from the four of them.
