Whoops!
Hey Guys! I know that we've all been having fun grabbing things out of the Free Shop today, but there was a problem with the script that puts codes in the shop.
To keep things simple, it called a function called randomItem() which to the programmers looked fine when we run the script. It looks for a random item, and we thought it used the parameters (which for this free shop giveaway were rarity 50-99) to put the items in the shop.
The problem was, some number of years ago someone rewrote the randomItem() function to not take those parameters into account, and it wasn't noted. So, we've been calling the function and thinking it was working fine.
The point is, that a lot of r100+ items were put into the free shop. These include NPC items, staff-only items, super retired old items, and things like god weapons. If you got anything like that (or anything r100+ that isn't a wizard token) from the Free Shop, please delete it now.
We will be manually removing them as we look through our logs and try to figure out what went out, but it makes our lives so much easier if you cooperate and just remove them. Due to these issues, I'm going to continue the Free Shop giveaway through the night, and throw in tons more wizard tokens!
Thanks for helping us deal with the problems, I know you will all be super honest and run to delete those items right away :heart:!

Ehh, well. I got an Elegant Gothic Box, opened it, and sold most of the items (which was about 3 or 4 hours ago)...what do I do now :/ ?
I just went through my Vault a few minutes ago and deleted all the items I got from the Free Shop that were over r99.(But not the Wizard Token as those are ok to have) I just hope I didn't miss anything -has gone through vault three times-, I don't want to get a warning or break any of the rules :C

Wow, apparently I missed all the craziness...glad to see it's being sorted. And much love to you, Keith, and all the staffers, for not only sorting it, but letting the giveaway go a bit longer to 'make up' for it. LOVE YA!!!!

I deleted something from last year giveaways that I am pretty sure I should, but the problem is.. I can't remember anything else? I'm not sure if this is a problem worries Hopefully you guys can delete any others, since I haven't exactly kept track of all my items from the last free shop giveaway xD

hey people, before you delete something, if you are not sure, search user shops for it. If there are there, probably it's not a problem. If there are none of them, you may have one of those super rare items. That Yellow glass and Lilac Pherret Elixir are fine.

ok sorry to be a pain but donation centre has items and i just got Yellow 2010 Fancy Glass so do i delete it as they may have got it from the shop.

I deleted the green scene hair and the 2 power crystals. Unfortunately I can't specifically remember anything else I got through the free shop, and I put it all in my shop which has almost 4,000 items.
