Za sun is setting and za Alegarten celebration has begun! I've opened up The Brewery once again, but there are no handouts this year my children, ohh noo noo. After graciously giving avay vell over 6 million beers, vee simply cannot afford that business model any longer. Three shops for za price of one! Food Haus, Geschenkboutique, and Gute Ale vill bee open during their regular business hours, 10 hours each per day. From 5am-6am I've got to close the ol' Brewery down to scrape off your barf from my upholstery. Orders vill take five minutes to complete, ve vant you to have the freshest item possible! The shop vill be open until vell past dinner time on October 6th. Ve can't afford to keep all of this stock here every year, so be sure to load up on any of the older items you may need in the future, who knows vat ve'll still have next year!
You are more than velcome to thank me for my services by extending a generous offer! Be varned, it takes an awful lot to get me even a bit tipsy these days, but you can certainly try! I vill drink anything vith the vord "beer" in it, but none of that vimpy "root" variety!

Five million beers! lol, I think I was responsible for only about a dozen of those. If only I knew back then wot I know now :P
Hmm, interesting shop setup! Not sure if I would like it as THE way for holiday items to be sold, but it is pretty neat. It'll be nice to snag a bunch of food for my pet that I normally would not get due to being unable to RS.
So are we going to be able to get free beer again? Or will I have to buy it from somewhere cause prices just shoooot up. haha.
While it's nice to have all of the holiday items available to buy for reasonable prices, this just takes all the fun out of the holiday as far as I'm concerned. I'm not a huge restocker, but I loved trying to vend for the new items. And there's nothing like the feeling of excitement of snagging something really rare from the holiday shop when I did feel like restocking. The rarer items were worth working for. If you take the challenge out of the event, you're also taking away my reason for participating. This way of doing things may be more fair overall, but it's also very boring.

Well, at least this way I can actually -get things-. It's an improvement over everything and anything being snapped up in a goddamn nanosecond, I say.
Also guys, you can turn in Free Beer to the guy. There are millions of them on here anyway and that would be cheaper...
I liked this event it was super easy and for the first time i actually got all the achievements... now if only I could get my beer goggles. XD
Normally I'd be disappointed over the lack of RSing and mystery boxing but it so happens that this is one week where I really could not afford to sit around and spend several days trying to get new items. Such a relief.
I guess the only thing I find to be a bummer, not just for this event but all the recent ones, is that the holiday shop has become useless. Now we can't fight for items, or vend items, or use the mystery box. Even though I really like the setup for Alegarten, I kinda liked the holiday restocking...
I do not like this event at all and I loathe alcohol (especially beer). I am however very excited to see some vegetarian items. Thank you for including those! I hope to see an increase of vegetarian/vegan items in the future. It always excites me! :3 I think those will be the only things i'll be getting from the shop to go in my veg*n section in my gallery. :)

This looks like another holiday/event I have to sit out of. I'm just not willing to shell out all my sp for this stuff, and as far as I know Alegarten doesn't have much besides the items to it. First the Reading Drive, then I didn't get to restock Keelhauliday which I guess is my own fault since my computer isn't the newest or the fastest(though I did do the jeweller's mini plot which I was happy with) and now Alegarten. Needing to have tons of disposable sp for some of these events is really starting to make me unhappy, I hope Morostide doesn't end up the same way.

It's not all cost... just buying stuff out of a shop with sP... you're not actually doing anything for the Holiday. It's ok for some holidays, but certainly not a direction I'd like to see all of them go in. Even with Skitters there is other stuff going on (with Candy Hearts and such). Is it fairly mindless to get tokens/hearts/etc? Yeah. But it still feels (slightly) more fun than being told to write a check and calling it a holiday.
Oh dear. This is my first Alegarten... I think I'm going to need a lot of sp. And... a lot of Keepsake Boxes...
Why is everything so damn expensive? Are they prices based on user shop prices? Great that means there's no way for the super rare stuff to become more affordable and all the prices are just going to go up. Not fun.
Apple, all I know is that I didn't get them and didn't hit the back button, so I would assume you didn't get them either. :-)
Oh and whomever thought it was a cool idea to re-named the Irish stuff to Strange = YSDDD! :K

Oh, I'm not sure, @Unwritten ?? ....but I hit the 'back' button and all the beers in my inventory were turned in x_X I hope I get lucky and they weren't in there. THank you ^_^
Apple, are you sure you turned the beer goggles into Gunter? I don't believe they are being rewarded yet. I didn't receive mine and someone else said they didn't either.
I would've preferred to restock, but this isn't a bad set up. I guess the prices even out compared to old Super Rare holiday restockables that ended up being unbuyable or nearly so.
And I'm just going to stick to buying 1000sp beer items from the brewery to finish the achievement. o:

I'm kind of still massively confused about how the brewery's going to work. Is the clothing shop only available in the morning?
