Alegarten!

Za sun is setting and za Alegarten celebration has begun! I've opened up The Brewery once again, but there are no handouts this year my children, ohh noo noo. After graciously giving avay vell over 6 million beers, vee simply cannot afford that business model any longer. Three shops for za price of one! Food Haus, Geschenkboutique, and Gute Ale vill bee open during their regular business hours, 10 hours each per day. From 5am-6am I've got to close the ol' Brewery down to scrape off your barf from my upholstery. Orders vill take five minutes to complete, ve vant you to have the freshest item possible! The shop vill be open until vell past dinner time on October 6th. Ve can't afford to keep all of this stock here every year, so be sure to load up on any of the older items you may need in the future, who knows vat ve'll still have next year!

You are more than velcome to thank me for my services by extending a generous offer! Be varned, it takes an awful lot to get me even a bit tipsy these days, but you can certainly try! I vill drink anything vith the vord "beer" in it, but none of that vimpy "root" variety!

Am I the only one not seeing the My First Beer Book in the shop? D: I hope that there aren't other items missing.

Lol Virtual makes a great point. Idc if you legit refreshed for all your Free Beer (even though that caused lag too), but I know auto-refreshers are allowed here and those people can gtfo too.
Restocking is one of my favorite ways to make sp on site. It's fun and challenging and was a great sp source.
I'm pretty bummed that between quests giving out so many super rares and the changes in holiday-related shops it is becoming worthless.
Definitely siding with Lexian on this one; the changes are not something I like and will make me spend less time here and thus less money.

So, when will the wearables show up? Also....hnnng ugh the beer prices keel me. Hopefully I'll be able to get to the maximum number.
Are you guys planning on doing some more new things for Alegarten?

I have no pity for restockers. Keelhauliday was bad enough. The legit people are fine, but the auto-buyers can gtfo.

Everything is very expensive, and I hope I can get all of the wearables I want because I work mornings...

I love the setup in the shops! <3
Time to bust out my sp and get some delicious looking food and beer.
Can't wait to see the next shop open up o uo

I'm really happy with the shop setup! I am so, so, SO relieved that I don't have to fight to restock the items. Keel Hauliday proved that my computer just isn't cut out for that, so it's really awesome to actually be able to get the items that I want this time. Speaking of which, the items are gooorgeous. I can't wait to see Geschenkboutique!
As for the prices, I think they're fair. Sure, some items are pretty steep, but that gives you something to work towards in place of fighting to restock. There's a good balance between cheap items and expensive ones, and just about everything is cheaper this way than in the user shops (some by veeery drastic amounts). I definitely prefer it this way.

Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one who liked restocking. I really liked the chance to get things for cheaper than... 300k.
But, uh. I guess not. I kind of dread seeing the prices on the wearables...

200k & 300k items? saving me millions? you're really not doing anyone favors keeping the price high except making it a site sP sinkhole by doing that. And where are the books?

Im loving this as an alternative to the Holiday Shop and trying to restock the rarer items! And the art work on Gunter is amazing! If I get him drunk enough, can I has his beard plz?
I kind of... really enjoyed vending/restocking/MBing for new holiday items. So I'm kind of... disappointed?
I feel like nobody else did, though, lol.

Goku is foaming at the mouth over the five minute wait. XD Of course I have to double check that he hasn't already ate the foods beforehand so the wait comes in handy.

Yeah I get that some of the items are worth millions in user shops, but haha I'm not paying 300k for a cake. Which sucks because I need someone those for gourmand still :|

Also I don't really see a problem with the prices of the foods. Yeah, some of them are pretty steep, but I feel like it can't be more expensive than what you would pay for some items in the libertine lounge (if you took the sP value of the trinkets that is). I guess the only difference is that you buy items from the lounge with the tokens that are just handed to you for dancing, while here aren't handed beer tokens or something. But regardless, I think the values match up to what we would pay for other event shop foods.
I'm so glad this is shop that is constantly stocked! I hated (and rarely bothered) fighting people for items when it was a normal shop. Try as I might I'm no good at restocking and it's always just been frustrating to me. I have the opportunity now to get everything I wanted without having to camp out in a shop for hours and hope the item I want both restocks and I'm able to grab it. Yay!
Yes some of the items are a bit pricey, but not outrageously so. There are plenty of really cheap items in there too. I'd rather pay 300k for something then several million.
Also a couple days of some of the new games will net you 300k fairly easily. Or questing. Cause really, 300k for an item really isn't that much.

Nope, no beer goggles arrived for me either....off to make a ticket! I adore those tiny elephants </3

Could someone clarify which items are the older ones and which ones are the newer ones? (Wasn't active last Alegarten.)

"MUCH more expensive if you were someone who was never going to buy from user shops"
I get that they're cheaper in user shops. I was never going to pay 15mil for them. Probably never going to pay 300k either, though. They were something I prefered the chance to get lucky and get since they're tangentially applicable to my gallery.
Just sucks to loose all of that opportunity in one swoop. Feels like slightly more balance could have been found (like say, a rare chance to get elsewhere/as a purchase addition/something).

The expensive items are either new or were literally millions in user shops. I priced every single item in shops and priced from there. Everything (save the new items and a few items that were like 999sp) is cheaper than it is in user shops. Some by tens of millions.

K good, I thought they were all good shops.
The prices aren't completely terrible, but it does take any chance at savings out of the equation, which makes the whole prospect much MUCH more expensive if you were someone who was never going to buy from user shops.... it's a plus and a minus, all in one. I do think some of the prices could stand to come down, or that the overly expensive items should maybe be otherwise integrated (a chance to get elsewhere, or something, maybe).

I take it we're really not supposed to ever succeed in getting him drunk, as a random event when we turn in a beer or something? Because if we could, I'd hand beers in one at a time. But if we can't -- turn in all button here I come.

JUST A NOTE: We don't expect the lag that is happening right now to continue all night / through the event. We have people purchasing free beer / other low priced items from user shops at a INSANE rate right now, which means there isn't a ton we can do to combat it :(
