The first thing she ever knew was the feeling of the warm ground beneath her. The second was her name. The darkness left her when her eyes opened, and there was nothing but the blue sky and the multitude of green leaves seeking the sun. How she knew what all of this was, she didn't know. She just knew it. As she got up from her patch of green, the leaves rustled and the branches swayed, as if being moved by an invisible person. It felt nice on her wings, and its tugging nature almost made it seem as if it wanted to play. So she chased it.
While trying to catch the elusive, invisible person across the world, she met other playmates. They spoke in weird words she had never heard before. Her first playmate was someone who was trying to make something grow. No matter how many times he watered the soil, nothing grew. He seemed to be very sad about it. Friends shouldn't be sad. She stepped on the ground, and plants sprung forth around her foot, like they wanted to play, too. She started dancing on the barren soil, giggling, and greenery burst up around her. The weird person was shocked and grateful, though she had no idea what he was talking about. He said something about a "god", but what was that?
Once upon a time, there was a planet of strange peoples completely alien to us. It was on this planet that the little god Kisura came to be. Wherever she went, greenery grew, leading her to be worshipped by some of the people there as bringer of life and crop. She was not the only god on this planet, however - the older god that existed before her, Arukarie, was also revered by the people, as the creator of everything in the world. Arukarie soon found her power, which, like all gods, relied on the faith and prayer of her followers, weakening due to others following Kisura instead.
The elder dragon-god angrily confronted the child-god, but was instead met with admiration and a bit of fear. Arukarie was surprised to find that Kisura had no idea what she was talking about when she angrily accused the new god of stealing her followers. Frustrated and a bit weirded-out by this naive little thing, she sped off over the horizon, only to be followed by Kisura, who saw her as some sort of older sister or something. The bug even dared to enter her lair in the highest mountain peak in the world. But despite how envious and angry she was at the new god, Arukarie could not resist letting her stay when Kisura fell asleep, curled against her.
Over time, they really did become like sisters, traveling the world and helping others, but the followers on the ground did not have the same ideas of kinship. War eventually ensued over who was true in their beliefs, and the sisters were divided. After destroying the followers of the other, they opted to fight each other instead, bringing much calamity upon the world. Horribly wounded, both of them fell after many days of battle. On her last breath, however, Kisura forgave her older sister and begged for her forgiveness in return, before she died alongside her.
Gods cannot truly die, and thus the two sisters were reborn alongside each other after hundreds of years of rest. Kisura opened her eyes again, only to a devastated world where nothing lived or grew. Of her "playmates", there was nothing, only a wind that cruelly howled and tore at her, and blackened skies with foul air that burned her from the inside. The ruins of their civilizations lay around them, with nary a plant to behold. No matter what she did, no matter how hard she tried, nothing sprung up to greet her. After trying for hours to make things grow, she gave up and cried in the arms of an equally-despairing Arukarie.
The two of them eventually opted to leave the destroyed world, for an unknown destination, perhaps another place with people who needed guidance. However, such places with people, let alone those without guardian deities, were extremely scarce in the universe. Kisura clung to the dim hope of one day finding a home again, while Arukarie grew more and more cynical as time marched on and their search repeatedly yielded fruitless results. By accident, they found a strange world by the name of Subeta. Kisura wanted so badly to be surrounded by plants again, and begged her sister to come with her. Arukarie, however, so nihilistic and self-loathing at this point, left for the caverns in the moon of the planet.
Kisura today resides in a glade somewhere around Veta Lake. Though she no longer has her powers to make things grow at her will, she still harbors a love for plants, and thus grows things herself. While not necessarily a child anymore, she still possesses a sense of innocence and purity, allowing her to easily pass herself off as a child. She also still loves to play, and has a playmate in the insanely hyperactive Yumigami. It also appears that the minions know what she is, because she has plant and bug minions following her everywhere and following any order she gives (they make great playmates, too). Kisura still harbors despair about her older sister, though, and regularly sends her flowers she grew herself.
