Secret Tale

"But hallo there! How're you?"

"Sweet as sugar" and "dreamgirl" was not exactly was she was aiming for. Not that she minded, no, she was actually quite flattered by what people said, but she was going for a more mature and responsible big sister. However, she did not want to slip into that traditional role of a woman doing housework either. Somehow though it seemed like she managed anyway. But what was she suppose to do when the rest of the household simply seemed to vanish every time she said "broom" or "vacuuming"? So she did clean, and wash, and cook, and occasionally she bossed the other vanished household members around to do it instead. That made her a responsible sister after all, did it not?

When she wasn't cleaning, she worked at the bakery. One might think she worked there to earn money as the responsible big sister she wanted to be, but the truth was that she loved sweets. She would try out everything they baked and then she would bring the recepies home to make more of the sweets. Pastries were perfect to cheer people up with, as big sisters did, but also they went perfect with her latest addiction: tea. She could sip tea all day long. She kept seven flavors of tea at home, one for every day in the week. Whenever she ran out she would throw herself at the door and run down to the store to get more.

While she was out, she often took the opportunity to visit the pet store. She loved the pet store over any other store. They had everything from fishes, to hamsters, to cute collars, to dog snacks and cute plushies. And birds. She adored birds. African birds, rainforest birds, blue birds, red birds, green birds, small birds and big birds. She would cover the house in them if she could. Unfortunately though she couldn't, because she did not have time to take care of more than the one she already had. Her brother had found an injured bird some time ago, and she had immediately taken the critter in. Pip she called him. Maybe "CRASH" or "BOOM" would have been more appropriated though, since the bird tended to fly into everything. That said, that bird was enough work as it was. Mind you, she loved Pip with all her heart.

When she was finished looking at birds, she would hurry home. The evening was usually spent cooking dinner and chatting with her busy boyfriend. When all the household members had been fed and the dishes taken care of, she would make herself comfortable in the sofa with a good book and another cup of tea. Every night she fell asleep in said sofa and would be waken up and led to the bed by her boyfriend. She'll then dream about all the cleaning and baking and caring she'd done and how proud she was for being such a good, responsible sister.
