I came across the shilmulo during my younger years, barely wet behind the ears I was new to the game, unsure of myself and what I was capable of. He hates it when I say this, but I owe him my life.

It happened during a stint along the Spanish Main. I was hunting down my father. I'd always been curious about the man who'd left my daj and his chavi. Daj never explained to me why he'd left. Her family had migrated to Spain with the rest of the natsia. In the end I'd been raised by my daj and the natsia. There were so many different trades to learn. I knew how to deal early on and how to use a tshurii for defense. I took learning the blade later on, I was quicker with a tshurii if not a pistol.

During one of our stays at the docks gathering fresh supplies, I had my men take a few days before we headed off again. It was during that time that I spotted the ruv. He was at the local kertsheema having a drink. He was all torn up, clothes were ragged, he looked as though he'd had little to no sov and it was pretty clear he was nursing a few licks. I tend to reach out to those avri the social norms. It's as though there's this silent communication and I know just who they are. I gave the wench a couple of galbi to pay for his scran and gave him a wink as I left.

It was about a day later that I spotted him again. I was at the ferari's getting a few things repaired when he was headed out towards the docks.

Lizards

My love for these creatures began when I was a little ghel. I always came across these little critters running about in the camps. A lot of my people enjoyed eating them, they said they were a delicacy, but I just couldn't bring myself to eat them, I only saw them as my friends.

I remember the day púridaia caught Ferka. He'd been climbing up the wall and she snatched him up so quickly I hadn't realized that she'd caught anything till she showed him to me. We made our way to the fire and as she pulled out a pan she told me we were going to have some fried lizard and I nearly gagged right there. I just shouted at her NO!!! and took him from her. Poor little guy was trying to get free of me and so I let him go and named him Ferka. Since then he's been with me through thick and thin in my adventures. He takes care of the lizards/geckos and other little critters that have joined our little crew.

That fellow you see looking through the Spyglass, that's my lovely Ferka, don't let his appearance fool you, he can be very vicious.
