If a sailor has the misfortune to come across the Red Morning, the best thing he can do is turn his ship around as soon as possible. Its Captain is fearless, bold, and most likely drunk. She has no real need for gold—her lifespan is eternal, thanks to a curse—and so, she travels the sea, wreaking havoc and plundering for her own amusement. Bartering for one’s life with gold or services is useless—There are only two ways to survive an encounter: offer expensive spices as payment, or pray that the captain is currently taking an alcohol-induced nap.

Rumours say she was someone more likeable before the curse. Some short-tempered witch she had met on her travels had plagued her with her current form… but in the end, the tales are only hearsay from scared sailors. What is known for certain is that she’s the only crew—she travels alone. Mostly. She has a strange fondness for crabs out of all things, and always keeps one close by.

She says that she can only tolerate the sea, wanting to be alone… and yet, there are people she values...

There’s her undead avian companion, reeking of death, booze, and maggots.

There’s a young Harvester, with features like her, who she watches over in the summer months.

And there’s her. Powerful in her own right. Revered even by the Captain. And perhaps... even a looker... after a couple bottles of rum.
