In a quiet, forgotten place, there lived a tiny soul with no name- only a number.

They called him Experiment 10.

He didn't know what a home was. He only knew cold floors, bright lights, and the lonely sound of his own heartbeat.

One afternoon near a tall science building, he was abandoned, wearing nothing but a thin ear tag that read, "Experiment 10." No one could ever fully know the hardships he had endured, but the sadness in his eye spoke louder than words.

Then one day, gentle hands lifted him up and carried him somewhere unfamiliar but warm- a shelter called "Adopt R Us." Still, he trembled. He waited in fear. He waited for pain.

Instead, he was given warm food. A soft blanket. Kind eyes that looked at him with something he had never seen before...care.

People came and went, kneeling by his cage, looking into his tired eye. He didn't dare hope. Not yet.

Until someone stopped. They didn't walk away. They opened the cage door and whispered, "You're safe now."

From that moment on, he was no longer a number. He was Mylo.

And for the very first time, Mylo knew he didn't have to be afraid anymore.
