- He comes off as standoffish and cold, but he's actually got a softer side not many people get to see.
- Born into a family with a long history of knighthood. Him becoming one was a given.
- He was, however the first knight to be assigned to the Flower Maidens (Ophelia, specifically)
- He occasionally has to leave to tend to other duties, and when he travels he brings back trinkets for Ophelia.
- Alexander has brought Ophelia handfuls of different seeds to grow in the cathedral; mostly flowers.
- Stray cats love him, and he's not sure why but they're welcome friends in the cathedral gardens.
- He has a scar along his jaw from his first real battle. (swords to the face, he decided, are not fun)
- Alexander would rather use his words to resolve a conflict rather than his sword. He's not afraid to use either however and his goal is to end the conflict as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Once he overhears that Ophelia is to go through the rite of eternal blossom, he offers the opportunity to help her escape; to chose herself.
- Alexander helps her escape during the masquerade, while everyone is distracted.
- He is branded as a traitor to Sunarel, a bounty is placed on his head.
