Abandoned as a child, as one cursed with ill luck. Ghost Dance found a fleeting happiness in life once he was taken in by a mage order. He was fair of face, with an angels voice, but also a cool intellectual with a vicious cruel streak. He learned magic and sword play at an incredible pace. Quickly drawing the local royals attentions where he was recruited into their service as a guard. He was most favored by the local lords whom he served faithfully in Shadowglen.

Unknowingly and by ill luck he one day uncovered a dark plot to overthrow his lords and destroy their people. Desperately he tried to flee back to the palace to spread the word of the on coming massacre. Only to end up being cursed by a jealous court rival turned traitor taking advantage of his inattention. Frightened and dying he sought help from his lover, only to be betrayed and murdered when she drugged him into a deep sleep.

Upon waking he discovered his soul had warped and he had become a horrid nightmare creature. No longer living yet never dead. His people had been slaughtered. His rage and agony in death only grows. His ill luck manifested taking form as a Griim. One which he named Genocide as a reminder to himself. A minion which is a trusted companion whom he commands to spread his pain, discontent, and despair with malicious glee. Angry, cursed, and murdered so dishonorably.. He seeks only vengeance for himself and his people, he knows no rest in death...
