-Personality-

Horror is an interesting vampire at that. Being a 'stick in the mud', he is all seriousness and no play. Cracking a smile seems an impossible task for him and he takes little to no enjoyment in anything he does. More often than not, he seems to be in a 'bad mood' all the time, having a pessimistic outlook on life and, well, everything. He is quite stubborn in his train of thinking, so trying to 'cheer him up' is a feat many have failed and none have prevailed. Staying this way seems to be his comfort zone, so it's best you leave it like that and just adjust or leave him alone.

His deep-seeded mindset comes from his job atmosphere and the criticism he gets from it. Being 9/10 vampire and a vampire hunter often gives the impression he hates his race; whether that's true or not, he won't say. However, he is very efficient in his work, being the best vampire hunter in the agency he works for. Though, being in this field and being a vampire himself, it causes him to have to be incredibly loathing of his own kind, just to show he's good for whatever job put in front of him. With being looked down upon and called several 'colorful' things, Horror has gained his reputation of being a jerk. Whether this means with the right company he'd be a little nicer, it's unknown.

Despite being so dark and mean, Horror does have a secret, softer side. This side usually only shows itself with good acquaintances or even 'friends'. He tends to ease up around people he knows won't judge him and even more so people who accept him for who he is and what he does. He values acceptance and will return it with respect. Though, it doesn't mean he becomes all 'lovey dovey' around those types of people, but instead just..isn't../as/ mean. But that can easily change without a good reason, especially if he feels threatened by letting his guard down.

Though, no matter what, his 'kindness' is almost never seen by other vampires. He loathes vampires and has a deep-seeded hatred towards them, even if they've done nothing to him, or if he's not supposed to kill them. This hatred also bleeds over to Were's and any type of Were he comes across. In fact, he has only let his guard down around one person, and that was a human. Not much of a blood-drinker, or at least of human blood, he has been able to be 'bothered' by this woman and seems to actually 'mind' her company. Though, she can and will get on his nerves a bit, but that's only because she's pushing his 'kind' button too much; and he doesn't like that.

Brief Explanation:

Their blood is genetically coded to have a distaste towards garlic, and abnormal healing rate, and a deadly effect under sunlight. Also, the more vampire blood, or generations you have behind you, the more "pure" you're considered to be. Vampires also cannot survive on a blood-based diet, but also must eat some forms of vegetables in large quantities. Although there is no weakness against crosses or the holy scripture, they do not like to listen to it, or be anywhere near a church.

Vampires have always had quarrels with werewolves and the two species tend to get into fights when they encounter one another. Although their DNA makeup is very similar, the two species are sterile towards one another, and therefore cannot breed vampire/werewolf crosses. When it comes to cyborgs, vampires are distant, as many vampire hunters are known to be cyborgs. But otherwise have a mutual existence.

Humans are prey and sometimes mates, but this is a rare occasion which usually ends up with the vampire devouring its mate and children from it's blood lust.

: Prologue :


In the year 4257, things are very different from the norm. Demons and Angels fight for the wayward souls of the tainted world which is being torn apart by it's inhabitants. Obsessed with genetic engineering, people have modified their forms to reflect their favorite myths. Now, the pure human race fights for survival among all the genetically engineered subspecies, becoming the lowest on the food chain when it comes to vampire, werewolves and cyborgs. Although everything is peaceful at the moment, the underground stirs with trouble, talk of each species's ploy to overthrow the other spreads like wild fire. Many hold pride in their species, and do not wish to fall prey to another. They get defensive, think of ways to protect themselves, look to their leaders for guidance and turn to perfecting their species to be able to prevail.

But who will win in the end? Will vampires find a cure to their allergy to solar rays? Will Were's find a way to keep their form beyond moonlight hours? Will cyborgs overthrow with their unbreakable strength? or will the death springers consume them all? Is this the end of humanity as we know it? or do humans still stand a chance?... Only time will tell.
