Character Notes: Yu-Gi-Oh! OC that has existed since 2005. Niece of Pegasus that has served as a beta tester for Duel Monsters since the creation of the modern game; joins Industrial Illusions as a card artist and lore writer after graduating from art school. Slowly recovering from a lifetime of toxic perfectionism inflicted on her by her parents. Black sheep of the family on account that she is the product of an affair her mother had with the chauffer after growing bored with her marriage. Natalie has always been closer to her uncle than to her parents or older brother and had to spend a couple of years unpacking everything brought up during Duelist Kingdom while also trying to avoid getting sucked into the next world ending crisis somehow caused by a card game. Lost her soul once during one such world ending crisis - thanks, Atlantis.

Has known the Kaiba brothers for many years due her step father's contracts with Gozaburo Kaiba (step father is president of a major plastics manufacturing company and Kaiba Corp is one of his most lucrative partnerships, especially after the shift from weapons manufacturing to gaming company). Mostly immune to Seto's antics and grumblings by this point. Convenient, given that he has her on retainer as the artist for new Blue-Eyes related cards because like hell is he letting Pegasus do any more artwork for them. Still, there are days where she fancies smacking him with her art tablet for being an aggravating jerk, and the two of them often exchange snarky quips during their conversations. She maintains close friendships with the rest of the Yugi gang but does not see them as often as she did during their high school years because of work. She mostly travels to Domino for Industrial Illusions related business these days.

In terms of personality, Natalie is an introvert who is often described as having her head partially lost in the clouds. As stated above she is unlearning more than two decades of toxic perfectionism and finally starting to come into her own. She keeps her social circle small and intimate, leaning on people she knows are 'safe' as she figures out how to navigate this thing called personal freedom. It is thrilling and terrifying and she wants to embrace it just as fiercely as she wants to hide from it, overwhelmed by the sheer number of possibilities.

TL;DR: Anxious Rich Kid from a Royally Messed Up Family spends teen years getting drawn into world ending shenanigans every six months, losses soul once in a card game her uncle brought into the modern age, later goes to art school to become an artist for the very same card game that she lost her soul playing that one time. Now does commissions for Even Richer And More Messed Up Rich Kid of his favorite dragon. Occasionally wants to smack him with her art tablet while doing said commissions because he is a jerk. It's their version of flirting, only neither of them realizes they are flirting. Oblivious AF.

(Natalie's timeline does not match up with canon timeline, spreading events over the course of several years instead of only two. Her story comes from a roleplay with a friend of mine that originally started in 2005 and went on a fifteen year hiatus until being picked up again in mid 2020 when nostalgia drew us back in.)
