Russell, a male hedge witch and a teacher.

His first experience with magic was an unpleasant one: it was his fourteenth birthday and he burnt his family home to the ground. This, of course, was an accident, but as the house succumbed to the flames, Russell was whisked away by the witches council to study his craft. Born to human parents, he was unaware of his gift: pyrokinesis.

10 years later:
Reserved and quiet, Russell studies potioncraft intensively, with a natural passion for the sophisticated botanical science of 'green magic'. As a young adult, he now teaches green magic to witches in training. The fire within him conflicts with his love of nature however. Even now, he sometimes struggles to contain his anger when the two opposing forces collide. His control over his pyrokinesis can be unstable at time.

Later he learns that, under the guidance of the sun, he can bring his two gifts together. He must learn to use the two in harmony: green magic and fire.
