"Lanying" means the luster of indigo. Affectionately called Lan by her older brother Yan Ming, she is usually found reading with her Bookmark, Qi. When not completely absorbed in her books, Lan is most often daydreaming. Lan is very self-conscious about her appearance. In the mornings, she sets aside a time to take care of her hygiene, namely, cleaning her fur and polishing her back crystals.
