Theme:

Jasper is actually about the same age as Nielo, but he's... generally... a good hearted guy. He's an asshole with a heart of gold who's the frontman for for his own band. He's very popular with the wimminz, but he actually knows quite a bit about the things Jade, Nielo and the gang are against. Trust him, he actually DOES know what's going on.

Jasper is a unique case. Unique in that he's technically supposed to be dead. Jasper was a special child: a pyrokinetic. He had very fine-tuned control over his power and enjoyed playing with it. This, however, attracted the church's attention and they tore him away from mom and dad. He was killed in the name of what would later be called the "Reborn" experiments. Surprisingly, Jasper was a success: rising from his ashes a new child. Still pyrokinetic, though. Either way: as long as he left behind a corpse and it could be burned, he would be constantly reborn from his ashes. The catch is that though he is technically immortal, he can only recover from cosmetic damage: anything like a missing hand couldn't be fixed by simply dying and burning the corpse. And if his head goes he'll die for good.

On stage, Jasper's a different kind of rock star. He's very loud and playful- in fact, his band NEVER has a set list, just suggestions of what they'd like to play. The audience controls his concerts and he does his best to see to it every fan goes home happy. In fact, if he doesn't think somebody's having a good time, he'll pull them onstage and have them sing with him! He loves his fans to death and would go a million miles for them. He talks to his audience, laughs, tells jokes with his band- being at a Jasper Fontaine show is like you're a family, and you're watching your big brother play on stage.

Favorites

Book: To his public, his favorite book is The Zombie Survival Guide- this is partially true, but his favorite is the Fullmetal Alchemist novelizations. He'd never admit it to anybody, though.

Song: "Queen of the Reich" and "Silent Lucidity" by Queensryche. His favorite album of theirs is Operation Mindcrime.

Movie: Taken (he likes action- and he won't admit it, but the dad rescuing daughter thing is something he thinks is really sweet.)

Game: By god, Devil May Cry. He so would screw Dante ("WHO WROTE THAT?! I'll get you! -J)

Comic: Iron Man and Batman. He thinks Batman's just badass and secretly wishes he could go drinking with Tony Stark.

Show: The original Power Rangers. He's not shy of admitting it, either. Hell, Rita Repulsa and the Yellow Ranger were his first childhood crushes. Resultantly, his fans send him lots of Power Rangers items.

Food: BAGELS. You cannot so much as THINK the word "bagel" without him being all over you.

Accent/Voice: When he's singing, his voice is deep and melodic but can still hit a lot of high pitches. Speaking, his voice is a little deep but not overly so. He has no real accent to his voice.

Eyes: Gold as well. Reborn, duh.

Jasper On Stage

Inspiration: Jasper grew up listening to rock and is heavily influenced by KISS, ACDC and Poison- but his GREATEST influence and rock idol is the lead singer of Melville. Jasper once got to be the opening act for one of his shows- a great honor, in his opinion, and played the best show he could in an attempt to honor his idol. Melville turned out to be a damn nice guy and let him do pyrotechnics for him. To this day, Jasper calls the day they played that show, February 17th, "Best Day Ever". He has it marked on his calendar and everything, the kooky sap. ♥️
