I’m 35, based in Italy, and I have a soft spot for design, art, and music—anything with a bit of beauty or meaning behind it. Reading isn’t just something I do; it’s how I live. I’m introverted by nature but surprisingly social once I get comfortable. Beware: I can get very chatty. I have retinitis pigmentosa, which means I experience the world a little differently (low lights? a nightmare! bright lights? a nightmare! | the stairs? which stairs? | bumping into people, furniture, light poles | let me set this pencil down so it can vanish!). In everyday life, I collect ridiculously kitsch Christmas ornaments and fairy statues, fully aware of how that sounds. I’m drawn to strange, forgotten, old items with a history. I believe in karma—mostly because I like the idea that the universe keeps track of things, so I don’t have to, and I can just live with positive energy. Lately, green is my favorite color, mythology has my whole heart, and I’m definitely drinking more coffee than I should. I’m new to gaming, highly motivated, and somehow still capable of getting stuck at the tutorial. My favourite season is summer, but nothing soothes my heart like the sea in winter. And chocolate. Almost forgot chocolate.
