Hi there! My name is Jean and I've been on Subeta for awhile now - introduced to the site over a decade ago by my good friend Pooka.
Originally born and raised in Illinois, I've been living for the past many years in Texas. I have a love for each, and call both home. Professionally, I'm an Archivist and Librarian at a small art museum. It's a bit of a hidden, unexpected gem in what some would call the middle of nowhere.
I love reading, primarily historical non-fiction or overly long fantasy series. I enjoy playing video games in my spare time, especially single-player RPGs. Spent over a decade playing ESO, but haven't had much time to dedicate to an MMO recently. Horseback riding is my favorite outdoor extra-curricular. I ride western saddle and am just having fun, no competitions for me!
I've got a clowder of cats at home - all rescues because that's what happens with rural living. I've got my first attempt at a garden going this year, and praying the hot Texas summer doesn't burn out my tomatoes. -
