SSS Ambassador: Drat those rats!
Hello, everyone! This is Captain Dinghy speaking to you from the bridge. Our final destination will be the glorious city of Centropolis, but unfortunately we have encountered a slight delay. Ever since the Centropolis Green project earlier this year, organizations have been popping up for the betterment and cleanliness of the city-- they do a lot of good work so I'm not complaining, but it does make docking there a little trickier nowadays. One of these organizations, the National Institute of Nutritional Health, has sent us a pre-docking checklist to make sure we are not importing any nasty diseases or vermin with the food on board. The secret of NINH's success has been these pre-screenings; this protocol has really cut back on the rat population of Centropolis in particular, which I'm sure you'll notice when you visit.
Unfortunately though, somewhere out there we picked up a rodent problem of our own. One of our chefs has been taking some culinary advice from a rat (which explains the chicken pot pie burger and the rest of Darkside's menu...), and while that might sound like a cute plot for an animated feature film, this is real life. That sort of thing isn't sanitary, and we need to clean up our kitchen before we can drop anchor anywhere near the pristine capital city. I'm not sure what that chef's been feeding this rodent, but its size is unusually large and we have no exterminators on board. If we can get help from everyone, hopefully we can get clearance from those NINHies on Monday. If you'd like to help out, report to the Tour Club!

You guys are all missing the "An American Tail" reference and I'm having all the sad feels.
Okay, I beat Ratticus 10 times now (all 10 right now, haven't battled him previously), and the tour club still says Closed for Maintenance. Is this all there is to it? Just beat up Ratticus? For some reason, I was expecting a Rat Bashing Game or something upon entering the Tour Club ... /shrugs oh well.

if you didn't get ratticus during the garden cleanup event, you can get him now by going to the tour club

Yay was able to defeat him. :D And omg Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH! I read that book when I was like in grade 2 lol.

Awe, Ratatouille ^_^
Welp, looks like we're out for some more battling~

HAHA.Lol ... the rat has taken over and won't let us in.

Hm, I have him from the Centropolis Green project. Upon defeating him 5 times, he dropped a bunch of stuff.
If that's all there is to it, it's a disappointing filler piece (reused enemy). Can't argue with new loot, though!

If you already unlocked Ratticus during the Centropolis Green Project cleanup, you won't have to unlock him again in the kitchen. Just head over to the BC and he should be in your opponents list and ready to fight. :)

I'd love to help, but I can't exactly get into the tour club...
Has anyone told the chef that we need to get in?

It would appear that the tour club didn't get the memo about volunteers headed their way, lol.
