and yea, a person died (who IS important to millions of people - I'm not denying that. And I'm not trying to be a jerk, even though some may think that.) - thousands of people die a day in foreign countries, and I don't see many people mentioning those rn.

Neil Alden Armstrong (August 5, 1930 – August 25, 2012) was an American astronaut and the first person to walk on the Moon. He was also an aerospace engineer, U.S. Navy pilot, test pilot, and university professor. Before becoming an astronaut, Armstrong was a United States Navy officer and served in the Korean War. After the war, he served as a test pilot at the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics High-Speed Flight Station, now known as the Dryden Flight Research Center, where he logged over 900 flights. He graduated from Purdue University and completed graduate studies at the University of Southern California.
Armstrong died in Cincinnati, Ohio, on August 25, 2012, at the age of 82 due to complications from blocked coronary arteries.

I actually wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid and he was my hero for the longest time. :( R.I.P. Mr. Neil Armstrong.
My most favourite tribute item to date by far. Not because it's a tribute to a very great man (despite some conspiracy theories) but because it's moving for all of us to explore beyond the stars~ <3 Absolutely in love with this item.

"Hoax" or not, keep distasteful comments to yourself. Either way a great man has passed away- show a little respect! Not to mention this is an absolutely perfect item- that BG art is just beyond gorgeous.

So, you people don't find it the LEAST bit suspicious that this man, this American hero who was the first man in the world to set foot on the moon, would never ever ever speak about it, give interviews, or in any other way discuss what it was like? All the astronauts, when asked about it, say they can't really remember what it was like, what the stars looked like, etc. That's not suspicious to you? And in one of the few interviews Armstrong gave, he broke down into hysterics and said some cryptic shit like "It's up to the next generation to peel back truth's protective layers!"
Do some fucking research. Even the most cursory of searches into the moon landing will show that it's impossible with current technology - much LESS sixties technology - to get past the Van Allen radiation belt without dying horribly. You all say, "Yeah we landed on the moon, the moon hoaxers are crazy! 'Myth Busterst' told me so!" Myth Busters were busted! Look into your own country's ridiculous lie. Look how soon we made it to the moon after founding NASA. Why could we go so easily over four decades ago when the country that was actually winning the space race - Russia - couldn't? And why did Russia never make it? And why hasn't any other country besides America been to the moon ever? Japan said a few years ago that they were planning a moon-trip and hoped to do it in TWENTY YEARS. Starting with twenty-first century technology. It's Japan for fuck's sake. They build cars and electronics and fucking robots and they can't do what we did in the sixties after only having NASA at all for a mere few years?
