Discontinuation of the Trivia
After careful consideration, Subeta has decided to discontinue the trivia. The Blue Building requirements have been changed to reflect this change. Instead of having to complete 10 trivias, you will now need to have at least 250 achievements. Also please note that you will NOT lose access to the Blue Building if you do not meet this new requirement. Once a member, always a member!
Old trivia prizes will also make a comeback at some point via the Crystal Shop. :)

Man, I've always loved trivia, it was such a great way to get to know the site better. Sigh @ never being able to finish achievements anymore, wish the weekly trivia had started earlier.

People might cheat at bones, blackout and item scramble too, better get rid of those too!
Sad to see the trivia go. I didn't try it every week but it was a fun little update to check in on.
I can see why they decided to take it down, but I hope it returns in some form or another. Something that is easier to manage, but still fun to play around with.

This is slightly depressing, as the trivia was something I looked forward to. Perhaps make it or of a special thing, such as for special occasions and holidays, or something? I hate the idea of only using the crystal shop, as the crystal shop has been a bit of a disappointing to me lately (as in, it's been more like a terrible version of the token shop, but with way less stocked and no reliable restocks).
I enjoyed the trivia while it lasted but there is something I still wish to see gone but isn't happening yet.
Dang I really liked trying the trivias. Most the time I was wrong but I got it right a few times.

Although, like I said in my first comment, I was really excited when trivia got bumped up to regular weekly status. I remember getting frustrated when it wouldn't update for months. But it could be a time-limited thing where there doesn't have to be a new trivia released when an old one is closed. It might be like a 'hey there is a trivia right now! you have until XXX to submit your answer'.

Bah, at least with the trivia I had a chance at getting the item. I have the feeling that with the more popular items, books, getting pushed to the Crystal Shop I'll never see them. I've only been able to catch one item that restocked there before it sold out because I was lucky enough to be on at that time. The other items I can/could get so far are the cheap not worth the crystals to purchase. Bah.
Good Lord, there were cheating sites for it? headdesk I must be too old because I can't even imagine why.

What a shame, love the Trivia - was so close to getting the achievement too! Sad choice. Will miss this very much.

@Buttercream We aren't completely disregarding people's opinons here. I've posted numerous times I'm up for suggestions. I've already stated that I liked the iddea of the trivia being a cute little mini-game for events or something. I'm also taking in consideration other way to reuse the prizes.
Oh this is going to make rares go up. Plus, trivia's gone. I've won several and I hate to see it go. It definitely led me to places in the site I hadn't been to before. And it always had some great prizes.
But... but... trivia is one of my favorite games. I look forward to it every week! This makes me so sad :( I was so excited when it turned into a weekly thing...
If this is how you take user's opinion and feedback to site features, I fear for this site now. Look at the sheer number of players now saying "NO" You just took away one of the best aspects of this game.

I've been looking into suggestions about what to do with the prizes other than the Crystal Shop. If I decide to change it, I'll make a news post about it.
I'm as disappointed in trivia being taken down as the next person, but seriously guys.

I'm surprised. I hope that means that the crystal shop will restock a bit more frequently at the very least.
I'm sad to see the trivia go. I had a lot of fun with it. I just wish that if it had to have been done, it was closed on Friday cause I hadn't answered this week's yet and I'm sure that others hadn't yet either.
I understand why this was discontinued what I don't understand is why it was done today. At this point friday isn't too far away and people who usually forget about the trivia/save it until thursday would have had a chance to answer this last one. This could have been a warning announcement that this weeks trivia was the last, the immediate shutdown is just really weird to me

Well. There goes another reason for me to even bother logging into subeta anymore :/ Slowly, all of my favorite things are being removed. That sucks.
I liked the Trivia just as much as everyone else, and I'm sad to see it go, but Keith does raise a very good point. it's easy to cheat at a game like that, and there were always those sore losers who would whine about it being unfair. I don't really see anything wrong with where the site's going, changes are needed to keep this place shiny and spiffy. besides, this is just one little aspect of the whole site; there's plenty more to enjoy! ^^

Well, I know people whine a lot. I whine sometimes. But I know you all have your reasons Keith, and I agree with Apple. The site is still AWESOME, and I know it just means new and better things. I'm sad that the trivias are going away because it was like my Sunday Paper crossword puzzle, but I get it. I know of the cheat sites, and the griping drove me crazy. But yeah...sad as I am to see it go, I KNOW it isn't going to make the site less fun. And? Something awesome happened that reminded me just how amazing people on Subeta are. So, I believe in you subeta!! <3
