Game of the Day: Stealth Bomber!
Hello again, EPICon fans!
Now, I'm sure you've all heard about the unfortunate conflict that complicated things at the last EPICon. It seems like those two boys have been able to forgive and forget, but the EPICon staff still isn't excited to be the venue for another rumble this year.
Still, there's nothing wrong with a bit of healthy competition, is there? And competitions are best when winning gets you fabulous prizes! That's why we have decided to feature a different game for each day of the convention, and give you a chance to win EPICon Prize Points. These points will be able to be used at the end of the convention in our exclusive prize shop!
The featured game today is a blast from the past, the card game Stealth Bomber! While more popular on Atebus, I am sure you Subetans can still kick some serious butt! You can earn up to 10 points for trying your very best at this old-school game. Additionally, if you manage to win, you can earn an additional 10 bonus points!
There was a bit in the scoring that we couldn't fully test ahead of release, which, wouldn't you know it, had an error in it. Don't worry, though, games finished before that was patched will still count toward your EPICon points!

Yeah. I'm only going to go to 10 wins... the lag NEVER stopped and it takes 45 minutes to get through 2 games when I usually only win every 3 games. I don't need the book that bad.
I keep getting all the way to the end (and these games are taking forever, too, due to lag) only for it to glitch. >.>
Is this game going to be available to play for a while at least, since this has been a huge waste of time for a lot of people due to the glitch?

I am SO HAPPY that this game is back! Seriously, guys, great move. And a HUGE fucking thank-you to whoever decided to put a cap on points per day. Maybe some people are pissed about it, but c'mon -- not everyone gets the summer off, kiddies. My real-world life is thanking you so hard right now.

I hope we can play tomorrow :( Glitches+lag is no fun. Wasting my time and getting no points for it sucks when it takes 15 minutes to get near the end.
It says I won 10/10 times but I didn't get the achievement yet, at the achievements page it says I won 9/10 times..
Okay, glitches last 3 times when I thought I won because I matched the last pair. :( This is very frustrating.
Where do we see our points? I won the first game so should have 20 points but doesn't show up in the other currencies section, only the 2010.
I wish there was an official point count or something though. I suck at keeping score on my own. ^_^

Just realized the culprit, the link on the side of the homepage is broken, not the game.
So people who want to play hardcore cant get any additional points, thats total shit! I hate systems like this, people who want to dedicate more time should be able to get more points and not be so limited...
I'm jealous that it seems to be working for everyone else! Nothing but a 404 page for me since the site came back up.

Well, got 7 games/6 wins already... might try to get to 10 wins today, then another 15 tomorrow...hopefully it'll be a /little/ less laggy around 3 am subeta time or I might just be tempted to do something drastic xD
The link under 'currently happening' is wrong it links to /stealthbomber.php instead of /stealth_bomber.php which is the correct url.. so whenever you try to go to the game through that link you just get a 404.. you can only access it through the link in this news post
I've won 14 times now. I think I'm just going to stop here since it's tomorrow's featured game too and I'll just get the last 11 wins then so that I can get my bonus points and the achievement <3
I did not like that game last time I do not like it now. Stealth Bomber = massive lag, plain luck if you win and extremely boring.

You don't need the card to be currently in your hand to lose. The game makes the assumption that if the only card left you can draw is the joker when your turn comes and everyone else has gotten rid of their cards, then you lose. At least, that's what makes sense to me.
Is it 1 point for every won game and 1 point for every lost, or 1 point for every loss and 2 for every win?

Thank you once again to the staff for EPICon. Despite the lag, it's been a good time so far. That being said, can we please get clarification on two things:
1) How exactly are the points being calculated according to the score page? Is it one point per game plus one point per win up to a total of ten each?
2) For the achievements, do we have to complete all 25 wins today?

I just hope this game will be up for 24 hours rather than ending at midnight. The site is too slow to play too many games at once and I don't have a whole lot of time for Subeta today either.
with the current lag, im managing 1 game every 10 minutes. what an exciting event we have on our hands.
