Happy New Years!
Happy New Years to all of you celebrating on Subeta! The quests have been reset, and you can find special New Year Tokens from doing quests around the site. These include the Wizard, Maleria, Cinthia and more!
You take those tokens and use them at the new New Years Shop which includes fabulous new items, and even some old favorites at the bottom. There is a link to redeem your tokens into your other currencies.
Also keep an eye out for the 2014 Goody Bag floating around! Even more celebratory items inside!

CURSED QUESTS just gave me 13 NY coins for 30 quests !!!
And the stuff she asks for is super cheep! I did all 30, and only 2 times did she ask for anything over 5k, usually it's under 1K!!!

I think it's funny that people are angry about this...
I typically would only do shinwa's or sag's quests. But this gives me a reason to branch out more and get more wizard coins.
From 29 of the wizard's quests, I made 17 tokens. That is pretty good. Thanks for this event, and the lag isn't so bad this morning. :)

So I'm assuming that it's only the revamped quests that give out new year's tokens? So doing Pete's Quests won't give me any tokens? So far I haven't gotten any tokens from doing that quest and highly doubt I ever will.

So ok, it is not a guaranteed token per quest, but a 'chance' of a token each quest? WTF!

I love the new Cinthia revamp, except for her face. It... Creeps me out. I can't quite put my finger on why but I really am unsettled. Maybe it just takes some getting used to...
This is really cool, I just hope it lasts a good few days because the lag is making it hard to earn tokens and I need those party rabbit plushes. :O
I also want to add that I've lost several of the floating bags simply because the lag will not open the pop-up screen! I click on the bag, but the screen sits blank, and no bag is in my inventory.
Love the idea of getting special tokens for an event. However, with everyone trying at the same time it really makes the site lag severely! With this lag it is taking me ten times longer to do a simple quest than it normally should. Normally I can finish all 30 Wiz quests in about 25 minutes (yes I have crappy internet... can't help it, we're poor). Today it took three hours! My other minor dislike is that out of 28 quests done for the Wizard (I had to refuse 2 of them) I only received 8 tokens!! I was hoping for a bit more than that, even with the lag making it longer to finish a quest. I really do hope this event lasts a bit longer.
Nice idea but the lag is killing me it took me an hour do to 15 quests please fix this or i will never get enough tokens to get all the items in the shop.
The new Cinthia is nearly as ugly as the new Charity! Why do you turn all those cute girls around here into cruel-looking ugly animemonsters?

I am having a little trouble with the tokens though. I've use the currency link, went into my vault and tried clicking around the tokens and haven't been able to transfer them. I'm probably doing something wrong. ^^;

Yesterday I won one Token by Quest, but I dosnt turn it in. Now it is lost... WHY???? Q__Q
Well this sucks… I haven't found a single token yet. I've been on all day!!!! Hopefully this event lasts longer than just new years day. At this rate I won't get anything!

I've recently got new internet and I am hardly having any lag at all!! :D And I love that background!
Sprouting Sonata 14 is probably one of the prettiest backdrops on the site. ;-; Those blues are so relaxing.

This lag SUCKS and its killing the joy of the event. Really we endure this headache every time, it getting old.
What other quests besides those 3 listed given the NY tokens? Got more from Maleria than Wiz or Cinthia.

Between the tortuous lag and problem with the NY tokens, I'm thinking about giving up for the night and hoping they're fixed by tomorrow. :(
Hmm, i got like, 5 new years tokens, but now im not getting any. Must be chance. Why no new wigs ;--; I thought at least one new wig was a staple for any event. Ill have to do the quests later. Takes two minutes to load a page...
I should add that I mean no disrespect to the artist at all, but the Cynthia revamp just freaks me right out...like she's going to come after me and kill me in my sleep instead of the beauty that she held in her old picture :(
Having the same problem with them not being taken out of my inventory. Noticed it when I went to redeem 2 new ones from quests and suddenly had a lot more tokens. Holding off on redeeming more until the morning, hope it'll be fixed by then, along with the lag. ;)
