More Spells Galore Revamps!
Laure over at Spells Galore has been quite busy. Just look at all the newly updated spell ingredients!
Both the Snail Shell and Wings of a Fairy have had their overlays updated!

How has no one brought up how fantastic the lotus petal is? As much as I love me any shroomy item, that is just fnkjssjnfd its cw quality. Now I dont have to buy water items with csc!

I was thinking of them after their last redraw, and the overlay was more of what I expected for
[item-Gold Play Wings] if they weren't so small. Perhaps the first redraw could also be a play set of fairy wings, so they aren't wasted?

Oh, YES the Willow Tree! I love the willow tree as it is which it comes to shape and positioning, but the flat white around the edges kind of ruins any ability to layer it. I would love to see all of the centaur-type items updated as well, particularly these:

I gotta say, even if the shading and everything is nice the anatomy on the various centaur items is pretty terrible.

These are amazing! I love that Spells Galore is getting the much needed updates it deserves!
These are all superb; love the items, love the new overlays, love the ideas for the HAs I'm going to put together. I'm a happy botanist!
The common rue is great, it looks really full and sits nice in front of foresty backgrounds. I'm really not posting again, this is the last time. I swear.
I agree with the Ginger root, it didn't really look like real ginger before, real ginger grows in clumps of grass like ..eh..clumps. But I'd absolutely love more grasses.
I'm really very happy with all the revamps, the sage looks awesome and the item image for angelica looks great too and the monkshoood image is very pretty. What I'm saying is I like all of it, lol. Oh and the Frankincense, finally got a full back love that and the seaweed too. Also the the mandrake looks like it has little mandrake legs. imgoingtostopnowbutiloveeverything.

@dragonborn76 - The old version didn't have an overlay, and Mistletoe is a weird plant - it attaches itself to other trees in order to grow. (And looks REALLY weird). There are other mistletoe items that have it hanging above the avatar, so we didn't want to go that route. In the end, we decided to leave it overlay-less for now and work on other items but in the future it may get an overlay!

@Wolf_Spirit - The juniper overlay has not changed. The fairy wings have changed from the /first/ revamp we did for them - based on user feedback. We went back and redid them to match the old versions a lot more, but we updated the lineart.
Some of the overlays haven't changed...yet. We were working getting the worst ones fixed first (coloured lineart, bad quality image etc) but will likely revisit some more of these in the future. (There are so many items that need fixing in that shop!)

Did the Fresh Mistletoe get missed? I guess I was thinking there should be a background when you hover over it?
@Rah is there a difference between the new and old overlays for the Juniper and Fairy Wings? I'm just thrilled the fairy wings look the same as the old, though! THEY HAVE THEIR BEAUTIFULNESS BACK!!!!!! :D

Also thanks for listening to us users who were upset about the previous revamp of the fairy wings! For me it was really just the coloring that was an issue

I'm squealing over these updates! They're beautiful! Also thank you so much for the fairy wings back, they're so pretty! The other ones were nice, but these have a certain gentle quality to them.

SO PLEASED YOU GUYS LIKE ALL OF THESE :D I hear you on the ginger root background, it just didn't quite match 'ginger root' for us, but a long grass type background may be something that we can fit in somewhere else :)

You've already gotten so much praise, but I simply have to say it: These updates look amazing! The Acorn, Seaweed and Lotus Petal look especially lovely. And the Lion Tooth, of course. Seriously, I think I'm in love xD

Gorgeous updates, I'm pretty stoked that the fairy wings were tweaked back to the smaller/daintier look they originally had. I'm also really happy about the Lion's Tooth! I've been hoarding a few of them for years hoping they would be made wearable eventually and I am definitely not disappointed! The backgrounds are all gorgeous, too! Thank you to the artists!

All those items are so beautiful but why has the layer for Galerina changed? For me it's still a ground item and not foreground!
I really going to miss the old frankincense, the old mostly-background was one of my favourites, but the new one is so lovely, so at least it's a nice trade ;w;

Wow! Cheapy cheap super BGs. And there I was trying to make no cutout landscapes for my HA-less for hours! Problem solved, I guess, and very pretty solutions.

Okay the only item I'm a bit disappointed in is the wooden scrying bowl. It's pretty, but I loved the sort of tribal designs it had before. BUT UGH EVERYTHING IS SO NICE. I WANT MORE.
I love all of these - THE OVERLAYS are so gorgeous ohm ygod. Although tbh the main reason I'm thrilled is that finally I can stuff all this in my TCs, the items are all stunning.

@Hannah66665 You can layer it behind your HA still, though! Using the beta wardrobe you just drag that layer below your base. :)

@Dryad The fairy wings are mostly the same which is why everyone is so excited. Last week they revamped them differently and pretty much everyone disliked them (myself included xD) someone might have the image saved for how they'd looked?

Aww, I kind of likes Acorn's old I'm-on-a-tree look :< And the colours are so dark on a lot of the revamps.

aw man, the cave moss' item art doesn't even remotely look like it used to... will have to take it out of my pet tcs because it doesn't make sense for them anymore... the avatar art is beautiful but I'm bummed
Like, thank you so much for the chicory (and seaweed, and lotus petal, and cave moss, and....) It's been my favorite plant forever, and you made it even better. This series of revamps has been wonderful.
I'll have to check back later to see if there are any overlays that didn't update for me (especially Juniper, because I love it as is, but if it's been updated, I'm SO EXCITED to see it!).
