Summer is Here!

Have you been waiting for an item from a particular season from the Millionaire Center? Maybe a specific book two seasons away? Well now you can buy items from the off-seasons though for a higher price.
The Millionaire Center is now separated into five tabs, one for each season and one tab for year round items. You can buy items from the current season for the normal sP price tag or buy something from an off-season for 125% its normal price. For example buying a Balrog Sticker, which is a Fall item, will cost you 1,250,000 sP if you buy it outside of Fall. The year-round, such as the Darkmatter Potion or Lizard Minion Trap, have their own tab and are priced normally.
The Scale of Red Rreign has been taken out of the Millionaire Center for a short period of time until the Battle Admins get a chance to rework it. It’s been strongly advised to use any red rreign scales you have now. Keep an eye out for a news post bringing it back in the coming weeks!
Remember the time limit between purchases in the Millionaire Center is one hour now! :)

The Summer Sphinx Relief is a collection that lets you choose one summer sphinx themed item from within! Just like last season, if you can figure out the riddle regarding the trinket you will get a cool item. In this case, if you can figure out the riddle and fulfill the requirements of the Summer Sphinx Trinket, you’ll receive a Summer Sphinx Pauldron!
The scroll’s riddle is part of a larger riddle that will involve every season. :)

The Quest Givers are in the summer spirit, are you?

@Amber
Thank you for bringing the blender back! :)
Ahhh, well if the scale is not, atleast it wont be a shock.
@Gifts4friends
Dont know if you are still wanting it, but the blender is coming back to the MC. :D

@AJAY Blender will be coming back! And I honestly don’t know what Jason plans to do with the scales, so I can’t really give you a yes/no. :P

Why are all of the trinket prizes so far battle related, yet neither are weapons?
Genetech combo from all four? :O

Ooh, really love that Succulent Skull. We need more tank tops like that. Hopefully, the old, basic tank tops would be revamped to that style.

@boxcutterbaby
OIC! Thank you so much for taking the time to type out that clarification. <3

@Sunflower They're two different items! The summer trinket transforms into the Pauldron, the spring turns into the bow!
So if you want the bow you have to buy the spring trinket and solve the riddle and the trinket will transform into the Spring Sphinx Arrowhead.
If you want the pauldron you have to buy the summer trinket and solve the riddle and the trinket will transform into the Summer Sphinx Pauldron.
If you want both you have to buy both the spring AND summer trinkets, but you just need one of each.
(I hope that helped! Sorry if I was unclear in my other posts!)

@AJAY Jason is actually working on fixing that item up some more before we put it in the Millionaire Center! And the scales are coming back. :P

@boxcutterbaby
Wait--does this mean you need extra copies if you want the bow and the pauldron? Or do you mean that this, like, unlocks a transform between the spring version and the summer version?

Dont see the
=/
( not putting it in there does not affect me, but I am sure others would love to have it. just fyi ).
and taking out the scales ( if permanent ), that were a damn good sP sink, was utterly a s i n i n e.
Ya'll are going to keep on screwing over the loyal users on this site, til all you will have, is the non-paying/want everything for free yobs.

The Summertime Freeze Pops look kind of dated, though, especially next to something as beautiful as the Sunset Sand dress. :x

@Five well, some people might have spent a huge amount of money like two days ago, not two months, just because they were told spring items would retire, than today it's "LOL NO, JK!". I just wish they wouldn't constantly change their mind about how to run the site, and "a lot of people wanted this" it's not always a good reason; I bet a lot of people would like godly weapons to be cheap, it's still not gonna happen.
However, as I said, I'm more annoyed at the costant changes than anything else.

The reason the scales are being reworked is mostly likely that even with a 25% premium, they're still much, much more efficient than the cash shop boosters that happen to be more expensive. If they don't make them worse, who's gonna buy those ? duh

@Lia this argument comes up with each and every change onsite, "we were told". Sometimes it's Subeta's fault and they should have told, because the issue wouldn't have existed if they had, p.e. including items in the CS sale that were said to not be in there, or retiring Subeautique lines without announcement.
But sometimes you couldn't really do anything even if they told you - what, if they told you 2 months before this change that you should sell all your MC items, would that work? Obviously not.
So, to have any change ever there will be some cases where it just can't be helped that some things don't have the advantages they had before. This is one of them. Otherwise, no change would be allowed ever, which would simply be a shit concept.

@Amber I'm a little disappointed that the red rreign scales were retired without warning. I love the Genetech combos that use them, plus I need a set for my gallery because dragons, and I was waiting to do that until I had more sp because I thought they would be there. You have made me a sad panda.
However, I'm loving the summer items!

Great change! I like that!
There's just one thing: If I solve the Riddle, will I just get the item or will the Trinket transform into the item or how is it supposed to work?

Ok, so I guess I should get into the riddle thing... I didn't want to because there was no point for me in spring, but if there is something else in that I might need to do it!
Also, I like and don't like that we can buy all the items all the time in the MC, I liked the 'season' feeling of this shop... but yeah it's fine either way! Could we do the same for the quest shop too that lose some of their items for a season?
Also, why not put the items that always stays on a different tab instead of mixed with the others?

I love the riddle items, they're not too hard and so fun to do. The arrowhead and the pauldron look so great together. I wonder what the fall and winter items will be. Maybe a breastplate? A helmet? Ugh, man I cant wait until they're all together. I'm so in love with this collection. :D
@Amber
I've been around for almost a decade, I definitely know it used to be just one standard set of items. I LIKED the rotation. I liked that you had a certain sect of time to get the items before they were rotated out until the next season came along. I don't want a median between not having it, and having it.

This is what bothers me.. Some people bought those items as an investement, cause we were told they wouldn't be available all year round, not cool.you're either going to buy them from someone who purposely held onto them because they were supposed to be a "limited" item.
And no, I'm not one of those people, but it still irks me because if one of us did something like this with a CW it would be considered a scam =/

I liked it better when you had to wait for the season to come around. Lately subeta just seems like it's handing things out too easily. Is this in response to how hard it is to get items from the Antique shop? Because if so, there IS a happy median guys

Don't be snippy! I wasn't talking about my own profits, don't even know, if I have MC items for sale in my shop. My main reason for disliking the change was given at the beginning of my comment.
However, for your information, the real profit does come from retired, special etc. items, that you had the patience to outwait, not from restockables.

Love the new minions!
Was the alert removed with the timer change? Even with the much shorter wait time, I need some help remembering. :P

I really like how the Darkmatter Imbued Shell looks for some reason.
I also really love this change to the Millionaire Center(I'm an impatient person, and don't like waiting months for certain items to become available), so thanks for this!

Except I'm not even a reseller; I'm just a normal user who happens to have a concept on how market works, and is upset because it's a bad move for the site. Keith keeps saying how he has these plans to recover the economy, but then the site continuously pushes out changes that will hurt those plans. Subeta needs serious help in regards to the economy. Just dismissing changes like these by saying "yay, it's what we wanted!" is not helpful. A room on fire, remains on fire, aided by the masses of people who don't notice it.

That's how it works.buying things secondhand at a higher price is LITERALLY the economy.
I buy this game at Walmart on sale for 10$
I sell it on buy and sell for 25$
PROFIT
like that's... that's literally how things are done. in real life and online.
THERE AREN'T ANY IN STOCK SO I WILL PAY YOU 5K MORE THAN STORE PRICE
BECAUSE I WANT IT

Personally I'd have been fine just waiting for the next season to roll around. I like having seasonal items to work at in a specific timeframe.
I'm also a little disappointed with the Summer Sphinx Elixir. :c The idea of it is lovely but the shading seems... cluttered and the way the hair falls is a bit odd to me.

@Ariel, @April
Thank you so much for this change! I can buy at my leisure now, even if the prices are slightly higher, and not have to worry about them not even being in stock in user shops.
Which is the biggest problem for me: seasonal (and especially older collection) items often aren't found in any user shops to even buy when I've wanted to buy them. And often waiting to see if any older show up in shop is futile; there aren't enough in supply, or no one wants to sell.
Which is... kind of the reason for the antique shop, too, another new feature I'm pretty grateful for even if I personally think the prices are very high. I know my idea of what's "too much" currency differs from a lot of other, older users, anyway, but at least if I want it and I want to save up for it it'll be there and there's no fretting over if they'll disappear after a while because someone else bought them first. It really helps with making decisions on priorities and goals.
But yeah, for these kinds of items, where folks don't even put them in trades or shops to sell, providing alternatives this way where they're guaranteed to be there, even if they're more expensive, is really nice. I'm really excited to get things, and yeah I may end up being impatient on a few select items and "doing economy wrong" or whatever by buying out of season, and o well for that.
Shrugs. I'm a sucker for guarantees, and I liked the seasonal thing on its own, but I like this, too.
(It's also why I'm so glad to see the collections come back--hopefully as a seasonal thing and not just a one-time deal where each month just for this year they're brought into the Cash Shop again--and to show it I bought up a bunch of the old June ones plus the newest one, because o my so many fishing-related items!)

I mean, sorry your profits are shot now?
Like sell your restockables?
Tbh the only people upset are the resellers. Now people can actually get these other items at gasp not inflated prices, AND sinking sP.
