Arr wha' a night! I feel like I’ve ‘ad a cannon t' me nethers. TWO cannons, t' be precise, 'cause look wha' a surprise haul I had. A new meanin' t' th' term motherload! Two cubs - I don’t reckon Carl was ever a real Doc at all, the scurvy dog, tellin’ me it were just th’ one. I blame me ‘ormones in believin’ the scoundrel. Turned out this wee pink one was quite th' sensitive scallywag, barely kickin' at all. His big sister be th' one wit' enough hair on her chest t' make her mother proud! Earned me sea legs wit' these two, I did. Me 'n Angrybeard decided t' name th' wee dusk poppet Brunhilde th' Blue, 'n th' wee dawn lad Bloodhungry. Hopefully he’ll grow into th' name.

Translation: What a magical experience! My love blooms like two cannons! Yes, TWO, for I was hit with quite the surprise - I had two cubs instead of just the one that dear fellow Carl insisted I was having. I’m not sure he was ever really a doctor like he mentioned. Anyway, it turned out that this dear little pink cub was quite the sensitive one, barely kicking at all. His big sister is the one with enough hair on her chest to make her mother proud! Angrybeard and I have decided to name the little dusk girl ‘Brunhilde the Blue’, and the little dawn boy ‘Bloodhungry’. We think he’ll grow into his name!

AH! I think Babette has become my favorite NPC! I mean she was hard core before, but, twins? Working mom? Baby wearing? Working mom while baby-wearing twin bears??!! Well, most of what I donated was blue things because that color had the most items in the donation center. Yay for being lazy and not trying for a different color choice? lol
So darn cute, but the thought of "Dr. Carl" makes me shudder... not exactly a shining example of what to look for in an OB/GYN, lol.
Would've really loved Gold and Silver (I tried~), but Dusk and Dawn was my second hope! ;u; TOTALLY EXCITED, AND THEY'RE SO PREEECIOUS. I am -elated- that the little guy is Dawn, and his sister is Dusk. ^ Aaaaaa. AAAAA, so wonderful! Congratulations, mama bear! You'll have your hands full, for certain! (Not that it'll drag you down!)

I hadn't actually read any of the news posts when the item drive was going... I just read this one and then went back and read the others to find out what was going on, but since I did donate a couple of items I did wind up getting the only prize there was. I'd meant to donate more than I did, but I guess I really didn't lose anything by not.
Also, I'm completely immune to the "cuteness" of this entire thing. Motherhood weirds me out and I don't find the majority of babies cute. I guess I'm glad everyone else is enjoying it, though.
