Revamps!
We’ve updated a few items around the site today!
The Minotaur Horn has had its item and overlay revamped while the Raven Claw has only had its overlay revamped.
We’ve revamped a lot of older Keith items. The Guide to Stalking Keith is now Guide to Finding Merana. Keiths Bottled Angst is now just Bottled Angst, which has received an overlay and item revamp! Keiths Nail Polish and Keiths Eyeliner both have overlays now and are now ‘Emotional’. The Lock of Keith’s Hair and Autographed Keith Picture are now based on Elwood! And lastly, Keiths Birthday Salad is now Gunters Summer Salad.

The end of an era, haha. Don't feel too bad, Keith, I was in my emo phase at the same time as yours and I totally understand not wanting that to be your legacy.

Really not loving the minotaur horn and I don't see why it had to be changed? I actually used the horns as they were several times but I will never have an outfit that's going to require those limp things. Come on now. Put that back. I'm 50/50 on the bottled angst revamp; the old item looked the part but I like the new overlay. I will say that I like the new overlay for the Raven Claw but I still don't see it working with the actual bird suits we have on site (not that I really want you to touch those, but it needs some companion items.)
well poop, i hate to jump on the 'oh no!' bandwagon, but the raven claw revamp really doesn't work for me either ;-; the outfit i've been most proud of making looked a lot better with the older version, so now i'm sad. i wish it was possible to keep the older item and opt in for the revamp - maybe with a shop/npc run machine where you can throw in the old item and have the new version get spit out to replace it (with a slightly different name), otherwise you got to keep the older version without any changes. although i do understand why things are getting updated so i'm torn, and still well done to the artists! i looove the eyeliner!
i guess it was also bad timing that i had the nail polish in my shop which sold for 394k before i woke up to see it was now a cool wearable that i would have otherwise put in my wardrobe. damn.

I kinda don't like the new color of the Raven Claw's overlay, but everything else is neato. :simple_smile:
The updated raven claw seems a little too dark to me? Like dark enough that it's hard to see the detail well.
It's a little weird to get bits of the site's history erased, but I can respect Keith's want to change these items. In the end, it makes the site more professional and coherent.
I really liked the old Raven Claw better. The other revamps are nice, but the new one is sort of overpowering.
Everything else is great, but I miss the old Raven Claw already.
The old one was so nice and natural-looking, with a dash of the freaky with those looooong toes. The new one is way too dark and bulky. :/

Why did the raven claw have to be ruined? It's so dark and blurry, it looked so good before. I wish there was a way to still use older versions of items, I'll probably never use the new version of this item again.

I don't think Keith's going anywhere, but really, would you all want stuff from phases you went through in your teens immortalized ten years later? I completely understand why this is happening xD
I think that the hair piece shouldn't be a wig, it should be his awesome, stripy headband instead. (but, only after I buy one, or... several of them. haha.)
Soooo... Keith is getting removed from the picture, one piece at a time...

While I do understand the reason for all the changes, I am also a little sad. It was a cute little joke. But on a whole the items really did show their age in more ways than just their designs.

Oh. Good. I was never terribly keen on the Keith items, they never really fit in.
The Bottled Angst being a lot more generic now lends it to TC stuff, too, which is nice. Still has those Evanescence lyrics though. ;p
The wearable revamps are looking pretty good, too!

I freaked out too, don't worry. I was super upset b/c I thought Keith was leaving without a proper goodbye. I was like "AFTER ALL THIS TIME?! I STOOD WITH YOU DURING THE SERVER WARS T-T DUN LEAVE US KEITH"

Aww, I liked the guide to stalking keith, with the little bit about having a lock of his hair.. it was funny. Couldn't it have become an NPC stalking guide with a lock of their hair? :<
These revamps are awesome! Will miss the Keith themed stuff, but hey, it's understandable for sure! That Minotaur overlay is sweet!
It is a sad sad day. RIP sweet Keith gallery! I shall now wear my extra Keith's "Emotional eyeliner" as a tribute. ARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!
OMG! I'm glad I have a gallery for that sort of thing! I almost deleted it the other day because I thought it became unnecessary, but turns out that not (yet) quite so! Throws polish and eyeliner in wardrobe

Keiths Camera should probably be put in the Crystal Shop or something once it's revamped, it's pretty pricey already.
Man, I could have sworn I had the nail polish and eyeliner somewhere... I must of thrown it in my shop. Oh wells.
I kind of liked them as everyman's reminder of how socially acceptably dark and misunderstood we all were back in the 00's (and still felt today). Personally affirmed by the king himself.
