@Amber Thank you! I remembered reading about other waves in news posts in the past, but I didn't specifically remember if certain events have more added etc. =)

@Tinkerbell If we intend to do more than one wave of items, we specifically say it in the news post! There’s usually only one wave for Survival. Masquerade and Morostide are usually the holidays that have two waves of items. <3

I really wish there were previews for the virus infections. What if I pick one and don't like the outcome? That would be sP wasted.
Can someone explain to me what the point of the floating flowers is? Why do you lay them on the memorial?

I was really looking forward to progressing along with the first wave :') I had hoped there would be a solution for people like me. kinda makes me want to back off a bit (just bought a ton of csc too lol, I am a fool)

Apparently snowballs are accidentally removing the infections, too, but they're looking into it.
I hope that they do extend it by a day to make up for the error, but Survival is still 13.5 days from ending and that is more than enough time to still get four strains.

Sad to see that my virus was wiped while I was asleep, not due to a kiss glitch - because I certainly didn't get any - and with no explanation. I was one of the first infected and I should be Stage 2, now I'm sitting here waiting for another confirmation. After the entire first day was ruined for so many people, I'm MORE than expecting an extension of the event for the length these glitches were active. I was excited to be among the first and now I get to be disappointed the entire time.
Yet again, right when I'm getting excited about Subeta again, I'm reminded why I refuse to spend any money here.

Sorry, Nope. I came online about 3 hours ago, paid for the new virus, and now that i posted on the forum it said i'm available for bites, though the infection page said i should see changes in about 2 hours. I had to bribe the hustler to infect me and it worked.

This is the first of what will no doubt be numerous polite but firm demands that the Zombie turnip be made a wearable to match the ghost turnip from the crypts.

Kind of glad I came in to read the comments. Didn't realise the infections got wiped. Kiiiiind of bummed I wasted five hours :c

I paid 25k for a random one and it went away. I'm less upset about losing my money and more upset about losing time. I didn't realize that it went away until just now looking at the comments. After losing the 25k I only had 10k left and signed up for a specific one and I'm still not infected yet. I'm upset about being several hours behind. Is there any way staff can skip me to a stage I would have been at? I signed up in the first few minutes after the news post. :(
I know I'll regret it when the achievements are released, but I'm gonna go ahead and spend all my hearts on these cats.
I have NO idea what strain I've got, but it's one of the newer ones. It looks like it'll be neat!

Hnnnggg i'm chomping at the bit rn because I'm at work and can't do anything fun until i get home with better access aahhhh but YAY SURVIVAL!!! And I'll have have two full days off to enjoy the start awww yiss!! EXCITEMENT!
I was proud of myself for gaming the glitch so I got the bird, but then two more people kissed me and now I'm stuck with the mole rat.
I don't even like zombies or the undead and yet Survival is my favorite time of year. That's how good this event is.

We've just pushed a temp fix for the infections glitch. It will take ~20 min for it to update around the site.
The issue was that getting kissed would overwrite your infection with the kissing hex. The temp fix was to disable the kissing hex, so... that is going to be disabled for a bit while we work on a proper solution.
Please file a ticket if you lost sP to this glitch, to get it reimbursed. I recommend waiting ~20 min (so until about 7:50 subeta time) before purchasing a new infection so that you don't lose it again before the site fully updates with the fix.

Ugh, my virus also cleared. :( I had the one that was pinkish/purplish under my eyes and on my forehead. I paid the 25k for an immediate new strain. Any chance staff could help me get it back? I don't want to sign up again and have it clear again since it seems like that's been happening to a lot of people.
Also getting that bug where the virus resets.. did random new strain twice, got the same one twice, it disappeared both times.. so now no virus, and I'm down 50k :P guess I'll try again later

I stopped seeing stuff on my HA. Went back to the VIP page and it no longer had the "you are infected" message. And I was able to get re-infected.

First thing I saw were the floating flowers!!! Then checked the news and BAM Survival is here!!!! Finally!!!
I found a floating flower before the news was posted and then had to frantically let everyone know IT WAS FINALLY HAPPENING xD
