The Skedhu

The pharmacist said that it would be ready in about 15 minutes, so you are killing time, absently perusing the aisles, when you come across a selection of greeting cards and magazines. You think of the Dungarde, alone in the crypt - would it like something to read? Can it read? And on another note that strikes you as hilariously absurdist, what kind of thing would a deathless guardian creature like to read?
You gather a selection of magazines for a wide range of interests; In the stack, you have fashion, cars, outdoorsman, cooking, and even a bridal magazine. You top the pile with a monthly anthology of short stories just as Ian's name is called for pickup.
Time to go back to Skelly Manor!

@Persika a valid Peg Solitaire move goes from the peg you choose over another peg and then into an empty hole. The very first move you make, the ending hole, this is not a surprise. There's only one destination! Nevertheless you need to tell the game that's where you want to move one of the four pegs you can move. So your first red square you pick, this is a peg, the second red square is a hole you mean it to jump another peg towards.

The peg solitaire game is not working or I'm doing it wrong. Lol. I click on a piece and nothing happens but a red box appears around it. When I click on another piece, the box moves, but that's it. I'm not sure what I'm doing;;
Love the puzzles! EASIEST! Keep going for the next event. I love escape room / puzzles to crack so much!

Can anyone recommend a better puzzle solution site for the solataire puzzle. Im lost once I have to turn the puzzle on its side.
i can't solve slide puzzles even with a guide. please give me plot points for admitting this.

Memo to self: Next year, train pets hardcore in order to actually make a dent on the plot opponents XD
((I know it wasn't mandatory to battle, but still...I'd like to be able to fight those 1000HP+ opponents without going "Welp that's us out :'D" all the time lol))
I do like the Dungarde though; his interactions with us are adorable...but still sinister in its hintings towards Jaxon and Ian.
I love plots that are interactive like this, thank you to the Staff for creating and planning such an immersive one for 2018 <3

You know, this whole Skedhu/mirror thing may be related in some way to this year's Cash Shop opponents. I mean, what if the Skedhu reflects and manifests your worst fear? Just a thought.

@ the Dungarde's words about ian better not be implying waht i think it's implying bc i will fcking scream

I was wondering if I was the only one pondering (while in stitches of laughter) the magazine dilemma, I'm glad to know I was not alone and all you fellow TOT-ies were thinking along the same lines. Now as long as our new "meet my little friend" doesn't turn on us and use the culinary mag to our 'disadvantage'.

You are welcome.
I'm thinking the interior design ones will allow the escaped Dungarde to create a new temple to Merana out of those suspicious crystals that were in Saherimos and the Omens.

I wonder which of the magazines he will enjoy reading? Maybe he'll be inspired by those interior design ones and use the tomb that he's used to for inspiration for some crazy crystal-infused living space?

Yeah, I've got the Domed, Vase and Squat ones so far. I still have to get the one form the Thomasin (I think) puzzle. And I've locked mine just in case (you never know). :P

#ankou I am Locking my reliquaries in my Inventory when I get them, I only have three.

@Ankou
Also, you should only have 3 reliquaries (despite 4 plot steps so far) because there was no puzzle in the 1st plot step (except the gauge thingy, but that doesn't really count as a puzzle). So we'll get the 4th reliquary in the next step (Monday I presume). :D

@Ankou
Not sure. Bug mentioned that "if you delete or lose the item, that won't affect your ability to progress in the plot" (also that you can file a ticket if you somehow accidentally delete/lose the item) but I'd keep them and lock them in my inventory just in case (besides, they make a great a great addition to a gallery/TC). :D
I guess they could just be some kind of trophies, but then that makes me think why they'd make them account-bound for the duration of the plot.

@ankou in the normal course of Subetan events, humans don't fight pets do (and humans don't eat but pets do). So what has happened to NPC Ian Asmodeus' rreign Curie?
Me I think the reliquaries are for depositions of new body parts.

You get one reliquary after completing each puzzle. The reliquaries are account-bount for the duration of the plot. :)

All I got to say about the body parts thing, is that gives me the wiggins sounds like something from Buffy
@Allaconna my headcanon is darker than yours. I think normally a family dungarde takes a piece of the firstborn's heart. This plot is body-parts heavy after all. But there will be no first-born with Jaxon and Ian which is why it doesn't like him.
@ankou only the very first weakest Challenger was site-event-necessary. But if you beat up the other Challengers you get sP and EXP and fifth win loot drop. I also am guessing that it's likely there will be a prize associated with beating the Challenger for each pet that does beat it based on past site event awards and the way that the BAs think.

Okay, A, curse you, slider puzzle! I got it but dang that was annoying! B... Whyyyy am I being filled with a great sense of foreboding over this. Ian's going to have a major choice to make? And why does this thing make me think maybe it's the Skedhu? I mean, Skedhu means mirror, Jaxon said.. Or worse yet, that BAD STUFF IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO IAN? Nuuuuuuu...
(Also I legit LOL'd at today's prize.)

Tossing things to people and throwing bags on the floor at other people's homes

i feel like im being led into a false sense of security w/ this plot line and i don't trust one second of it. Please let the boys be happy.

also thanks for your help
also thanks for your help

@Jena if it refuses to let you click more, either something's up with flash or you've made a mistake. you're not supposed to let the path cross the black circles.
@beinagrind it requires a pretty involved solution to solve "right", aka with the marble in the middle, but my advice [other than 'look up a peg solitaire guide'] is to start with jumping the leftmost moveable marble into the center and make sure not to leave any too far from the center.

>> sends Jaxon into another dimension
>> randomly injures Ian
>> repeat the same steps with slightly changes

@Ankou You'll be fine. The only mandatory challenger was the first one that was easy enough for everyone to get at least one win on it.
