I'm glad they retained their colors this time around but I am a little sad that the orange ones weren't brightened up a bit; they're still that faded shade of orange that doesn't match anything.
@ShadowyIce I guess now that the rift exists, it makes sense to revamp retired stuff now so that it works with the current stuff.

I’m so happy! These were one of my favourite items back in the day. Time to go and make a retro HA!

Why revamp something without putting it back into circulation?

I was worried when I saw the title, but these are nice revamps, good job staff :) I admit I did prefer how slouchy the old ones were, but I like these too. Rainbow's my favourite and it still looks great :) I feel like the black striped ones lost a little something in the revamp, though.. not sure what, just those ones look a bit off to me for some reason. Not bad just a bit off, can't put my finger on what it is. But the rainbow ones are still great so I'm happy ^^ I'm glad I already had them, geez the inflation on 'em is ridiculous!!

I took out these items and stuck them in my vault. Glad I didn’t sell them. Lol. Better snap up with them arm warmers if you haven’t already.
Now I am SO glad I buy old retired items while no one is paying attention to them ?. Will totally have uses for these now!
WOOOO! These were one of my favorite items, and I absolutely still wear leg warmers. So I am so excited for this revamp. They look awesome, thank you so much for the revamp.
Yeesh, the inflation rate for the rainbow ones is kinda severe compared to the real price. These look rad though!

I think I like them but I'm still not sure if I'll use them much. They haven't been my subeta avvie style for like ten years. Though I'd wear them IRL right this minute if I could!

Nice! I'm so glad I already had most of these sitting in my wardrobe. Only missing the white and pink ones.:) They really look great now. Thank you!
Okay, can everyone quit with the arguing? This has happened multiple times with events and items, and it's getting frustrating that instead of ignoring negative comments, people are responding to them or making their own negative comments. Constructive criticism is all well and good, but just saying bad things about it with no helpful feedback does nothing. There was a HUGE discussion about this with the Masquerade CW contest, so I will not be replying to anyone who replies to this comment. I just don't want to get into that and make these comments a war zone as well.
The comments section should be a place to have meaningful discussions about the items and thanking the artists for their hard work. They've pumped out quite a few revamps recently, and they've given us some really nice new items, too! So let's not argue about how these don't work for previous HAs or that they were too outdated, and just focus on the great artists Subeta has on their staff. Thank you guys for all the hard work you do (and the crap you put up with about your art)!

These are beautiful, thank you for the revamps. People being angry that old art styles are changing to be less ugly and more in line with recent art need to take a chill pill lol

Could someone show/paste the comparison of original and revamp? I think I'm OK with the upgrade bit not sure.
@Atomic has saying "calm down" to people ever made them calmer? It's never had that result for me.
@kitty I'm well over 40 and pretty much everything comes back into style eventually. Most things run on a 20-30 year cycle of being "in style", "out of style", "holy fuck people still wear that", "omg what is that, you look so cool!" back to "in style" again.

YES, these are much better! I love leg warmers and now these are much much more wearable and less clunky! <3 Thank you!!!!!
I love seeing old items revamped. The style has changed so much since the first items were released and this gives old items a chance to be used a lot again.
@kitty Some of us have been using these items for a long time, and do not want the "style" to change. I was terrified until I saw the revamped versions, then relieved I can still use them to represent loose socks, and that they still look good as loose socks.
If you want new sock styles, you should request them. I'm not completely on board with the idea that people should be thrilled when items they're still using change on them overnight.

the nice thing about these revamps is I get to discover wearables I never even knew about :o

These are gorgeous! I also would like to politely request other flags! Maybe Quentin can carry them like they do the sashes?
We could really use some new warmers as well, like a trans flag one, striped ones with white instead of black, one leg in black and the other one in white...
