Chibi Mahar and Revamped Chibi Sheeta!

Sometimes different is good. Sometimes different is even better. I see no need to be bound to old art styles. Maybe it's everything else that needs to be updated...or maybe they can just coexist peacefully on the site because different people like different things anyway. Chibis aren't really my thing but these are adorable and I don't see anything wrong with them at all!
I'm just leaving my opinion and not complaining at all.
I like these (especially the Sheeta), but I feel they don't match the rest of the Chibi styles. These new ones seem a little out of place: larger, different style, different shading.

I love Mahars but I'm not sure I like this style. I agree that it is much different from the rest. (Something about the left ear/upper head is throwing me off?) Not complaining, really, the pose is adorable so I'll probably get one (or 4) myself anyways lol.
I loooove the chibi mahar, but I do agree with others that the art style looks a bit odd compared to other site art.

The new design for the sheeta is good and the mahar looks bratty (in a good way) but I feel these two are shaded and drawn in a completely different style from the norm, especially when compared to other chibis:
Granted, there are other chibi pets that are similar in style to the new ones--
--but if you ask me, the bottom row here looks like they're in dire need of a revamp. Their art looks dated; needing new line art, shading, eyes and anatomy and these new pets look more like them than the top row; they should look like the top row.
To put it in tattoo terms: the new pets are new school while a considerable chunk of older pets are Neo Traditonal and I prefer neo traditional over new school.
And to those who may pounce on me for being negative: I don't hate these pets. They are cute, brightly colored and actually have personality, which is awesome because these pets are often so static, but they're too overly stylized for me; it feels like they belong on a different petsite altogether and that seems counter-intuitive to the revamp/site at large. Overall they get a 7/10: good but needs some tweaks. (Maybe make the eyes a little smaller and add more details/defined shading? Maybe some darker shading on the Mahar.)

Uh they're cute and did need a revamp, don't get me wrong, but I'm just a bit bothered by how the drawing style is SO different from the other chibis. ;o;'

Nice!!! Hopefully this means we'll get more revamped Sheetas soon (The Common and recolour Sheetas do look a bit old). I also didn't realise we didn't have a Chibi Mahar before.
