These are lovely and I want many of the items but can the artists PLEASE cut back on the extra hair on cheeks. Please it looks so awkward and totally unnecessary I dont walk around with hair touching my cheek most women with long hair are able to tuck hair behind their ear without it being so short it curls around and touches your face. It can't be possible that so many avatars are growing out bangs they regret!

Looking at this set again I like the top and shorts too, they're cute and a little different and that's gonna make them stand out in the tons and tons of items in the wardrobe, thanks artist!

Love that moon lace background <3 I can totally work with these colors <3<3<3 Pinks, creams, oranges, burgundys and reds work well with this set IMO

I'm glad Delish items are being released as one set instead of two. When they're sold separately, I have to buy piecemeal and shell out 250 for the wigs, because the items I want from each set are split across the gender divide, often for no apparent reason as many of the items are pure fantasy items that have no historical gender associations, being simple bits of drapery. When they're released as one set, it's more likely that I will decide to purchase the entire set as the items I want would cost as much as the whole set and the few items I don't want will sell for SP.
It's a win-win. You're being respectful of the fact that there are more than two genders, AND you're being respectful of our desire not to bankrupt ourselves on this site :)

@Mackenzi Actually I think a lot of the muscle items (especially the ones from Go Outside) look worst on base 2, because that shading is too dark and makes the limbs look like sculpture, not flesh--but they do just absolutely disappear on bases 9 and 10. I like them best on bases 4-8.
Muscle items--particularly staff-made--should probably be transformable.
I would love to do the makeup thread, we can chat about it elsewhere. Your idea about shades is really good, and about layering effects -- I use blushes that wouldn't normally work on my base sometimes by layering them under other makeups :)
I'm super excited about the possibility of transformable CWs.

I have to add that I agree transformable items would be best for things that don't work well on darker skins. I have found a few (like Valiska said) that work but often I end up just not using blush simply because I don't want my HA to look painted.
Also, I really hope we get more of this item/type: Delish Sonnet Vase. I wish I had it in a handful or other colors now too.
I am in love with the color scheme still though (even after reading all the comments below). I know it'll be nearly impossible to match in the wardrobe unless you have a hoard of peachy CWs in there hiding out. xD That being said, I really don't care about not having matching items (yet) for this set due to aesthetic quality of the vast majority of these items.
I have to add I second what Spirited said about the male tattoo.

THIS is probably the BEST set I've ever seen from here. I Love it all - for the first time ever I actually want everything! Whoever did the artwork and had the concepts on some of these items was running on some strong genius, great work! ^^

Yessss new delish, im always looking forward to it. A very pretty set! I like the orangey pink colors and that moon background is just gorgeous. Wahhh it’s like a custom wearable but bargain priced haha.
@Valiska That would be a rad thread, I’d be down for it. I wonder if it’s more practical to list all blushes and contours and order them by shade? There is a lot of wiggle room when it comes to makeup and what does and doesn’t work for what base. I would personally love a list of all blush-type items anyway, could be a two birds with one stone opportunity so maybe I’ll look into that when I get off work.
And I know what you mean about muscle mods, trying to make those work on a dark base is a whole ordeal lol
I do wish more wearables got previewed on darker bases and also darker backgrounds! The blush also has stray blush color floating by the avatars head, noticeable because I’m using a night mode custom css so Mesmers previews have a dark background. I feel like this would also help with the color bleed issues on some of the recent and not so recent items with really thin lines. I don’t know what the process is for making items but can artists add in this extra step if they are not already? It’s kind of a bummer when I hover over the previews and there are weird stray pixels and smudges or gray lines clearly visible on the darker HA bases. I need to be more active in the stray pixel forum thread tbh.
But I’m super excited about what amber said about transformable items! ??? I do feel that would make a positive impact, I can’t wait to see what’s in store.

Lovely lovely set. I definitely like the softer look & am happy to hear that future sets are looking into making these looks available for all skin tones! ♥
Shout out also for this lovely coral/orange color scheme cause ugh yes - so nice and matchy matchy.

@Valiska oh, yeah, the supernatural blush in the golden tone works perfectly. It's still a CW, but it works. Even though some of the blushes don't look white-ish, the usual pink/red scheme doesn't always work because you need some shine to make it pop. The ochre blush really works as well, but again, I'd layer it with some of Cathii's concealers on a 6-7 base because some of them give a nice shine to darker tones. Still, I find it really hard to work woth 9-10 bases based on the items we have (if we aren't talking about CWs, that's even harder).
And yup, I think a thread like that would be really amazing :3

love when staff goes "Hey, those CW items? well, here's one for the CS" , it's great.
& yes, I do hope we get transformable blushes for darker bases.

I'm bummed to see the lips are so solidly colored because I like to layer lip items to tint them. Also bummed about the "female" eyes because the lashes are too light and they kind of just painted on. The "male" eyes are more useable.
The colors are gorgeous though and the hair is stunning for both wigs :)

well i know i'll be saving some cash by buying the Whole set because wow these are all lovely items! i'm not even a huge fan of pink, but this is a Nice shade.
although, yeah, i too wish i could do some fun layering with the waist of those pants if only it was an item of its own...i feel it'll more often than not get covered which is sad, but i guess we'll see :) can't wait to get these in my wardrobe~

Absolutely gorgeous set! This color scheme is to die for.
Three cheers for , I hope we see more layerable bg/fg items like this in the future!!!

I love the BG thing, as well as the top and the skirt. The wigs didn't do it for me, personally, but they're cute. I don't really like the eyes though... they're so small? I wish they were bigger. It might be just a preference of mine, though. Either way, I love the colours in this collection, so thank you so much for it!

is beautiful and easily the best piece to me.
I really wanna love the but I don't like the heaviness the 'lineart?' brings with it. Its too delicate a design for it and it's drawing me in to it for the wrong reasons.
The female set overall is lovely together tho A++. I share the same concerns about the usability on other bases and I'm sad that I can't get most of this as someone who likes to use them all, but that's been discussed already ^^. Cant wait to see what you do with the future make ups/ eyes and anything else yesss.

@Ferinsy Ulalena's "supernatural" blushes often work really well on dark bases because they do not have the random white pixels that make white avatars look sparkly and avatars of colour look like they have been painting the ceiling white but haven't washed their faces yet. The ochre pigment from the Shrine Maiden set and most of the Body Blushes from the Grooming Parlor are also very good as blushes on dark avatars.
Hey @Mackenzi, do we need a sister thread for makeup that doesn't look crappy on bases 6-10?
Ironically, a lot of the "muscle" mods look terrible on bases lighter than 4 because the shading is so dark. I was making an avatar on base 2 tonight and tried to use them and was really shocked at how bad it looked.

i only like the shorts and crown.
the 'wall' decoration circle is also pretty. not sure i'd use it, but still.

makeup is naturally skin-tone dependent and there's no way around it, which is why i don't think it belongs in delish lines in the first place. especially the blushes - literally a touch of airbrush to the face, and we get them in like every other delish line.

I really want BOTH hair pieces. They look lovely. I'd probably end up redeeming them in order to play around with the colors. (Especially the male based one)

I love the colours but they might be hard to find other clothing items these go with. I shall experiment with them in the wardrobe before deciding if I should buy them

@Ferinsy
It is possible to make blushes for the darker skin tones. I have made one myself before because there are so few actual site options for it. I get maybe for this set they wanted something soft and light for sure, but this is a constant issue, not just this set. *shrug*
And IRL more makeup companies are slowly getting into making blush for darker skin too. They're just as hard to find IRL as onsite.
It's depressing TBH.

@Mesmer well, I always have trouble using any blush on darker skin tones. I mean, makeup in real life is already like that: different colors of shadow/blush/concealer/foundation for different skin tones. I always have a hard time while creating dark skin HAs, since I can never find blushes (besides literally 2 of them I always use) that looks good. But yeah, the eyes... that brown-ish lineart is really kinda bummer for dark bases.

i was really excited to see the mascara on the sample base, but it looks... so-so with my usual base. i'm looking forward to seeing how people use it, though; i know we have a lot of people who do crazy amazing things with layering faces.
anyway, the vase background is killer, love the paint drips.

I'm going to be 'that person' now. For a cash shop set it would be really cool if staff took the time to look at their items on the darkest base before putting them onsite. The eyes and blush are entirely unusable on dark bases.
I mean no hate, the items are beautiful. I know, as a CW artist, it's easy to forget to double check something like this, so I hope the staff artists take this as constructive criticism to check themselves and their team mates for this issue in the future.
