I was finally able to beat 7 this year. Yay! Unlocked the medal for 9 and was instantly crushed. 🥲
omg I'm so proud of my pet, last time these guys came around it was so hard for me to get to 10 wins with the 3-headed one. Now 10 wins was a breeze. However Zephyrax isn't even remotely strong enough to beat the 5-headed one.. RIP XD

I was expecting each one to get gradually harder. Not jump from a starting stats of 25 for the one headed one to starting stats of 750 for the 3 headed one. That is such an insane difficulty spike.

I wish I could still enjoy battling like I used to but every time I get ready to reach a goal post (like getting that panzer hydra gauntlet) the gatekeepers run in and rip the net right off the field. I feel like Charlie Brown constantly trying to kick that football and failing. :/ Good luck though to those who can still find joy in it.

@Amber the 5 headed one is the only one not reset for me either. I didnt notice till I was 18wins in.
i also did not have my wins reset for the third stage (5 head) hydra
but i did get 10 wins on the 7-headed hydra this year so i'm pretty stoked about that :3

I'm actually having problems with my achievement prizes all together. A couple days ago, I finally unlocked the achievement for the mystery dance. I got the achievement but it still says I haven't unlocked the cosmetic. Now, I just beat the first Hydra 5 times... got the achievement, but didn't get the medal to unlock the next version.
Is this just happening to me? Or is something up with the achievement page??

I cant get the second one to show up either and I have defeated the first one soooo many times. :( Very Sad
yup, it just looks like mine reset, because all the achievements were complete. Moot point, since I am battling them all again. lol
How to unlock
You need to beat each version 10 times to finish the associated achievement. The achievement prize is a "medal" that unlocks the next one.

You should only need to battle 10 times. It's an achievement if you search for "panzer hydra".

The trophies that are dropped as prizes unlock the next. If you don't have the trophy, you might have sold it in past or something.

I cant get even 2 Hydras only 1 Hydra is all I got do I have to battle 100 times to get the 2nd one?

As for how to unlock- there are 4 "panzer hydra" achievements. You need to beat each 10 times, and it will clear the achievement to drop a trophy to unlock the next level of hydra.

Do we not start where we left off last year? I beat the 7-headed one 7 times last year, but only have three hydras on my list. :( Not sure I am remembering correctly, how these are situated.
Were the wins for the 5 headed one not reset? I went to battle it and it started me at 11 wins. confusion

I downloaded a hydra mod for Skyrim once and now hydras terrify me. At the same time, I'm saddened I don't have any pets tough enough to take this on.
