@bunny My opinion is honesty when honestly made, which my original comment was and is. I left notes of what I thought would improve the wearable part of the item, which also served as my reason to finding it lackluster. This is constructive criticism 101. If I just said "lul, sux bro" then sure, you'd have a case. If the artist is publicly humiliated by my statement, it's within their rights to say so. They do not need you to defend them.
Besides, I didn't mean audacious as in "Ooooh, who can I trigger today," but that my honesty is considered audacious by default. I don't consider being dogmatically positive a sign of self-awareness nor being respectful as not letting people know where they can grow will cause stagnation or complacency. (Not to mention not being honest in these kinds of scenarios can be considered patronizing if done wrong/too often.) As for who's mad... it seems to just be you, dear. I mean, you decided to to make a scene over what is essentially a non-issue; a differing of opinions and/or a disagreement on behavior. I was chill when making my initial comment and I'm chill now. Wasn't so chill with you initially, but that's because I'm tired of having to perform for people. It's not that I'm mean, just honest; people tend to conflate the two because truth can be cold, condescending and feel unkind, but it's no less unkind than being caught with your hands in the cookie jar. You just think/feel it's unfair because you got caught. It's the same kind of discomfort.

@Jasper did you know that your opinion isn't honesty? No one is asking for, nor needs, you to be audacious; this is a news post on a virtual pet website what do you think you're doing? What waves~ do you think you have to make here? It is not my job to teach you self-awareness or just base-level respect but after this I'd say you'd benefit from learning. But I mean, if you want to be riled up on the internets then stay big mad but people will continue to side-eye and learn to handle it. At least learn to handle it better than you currently are.

@Amber (also, I would consider eating bees to get some new Marez or Royale releases. And Vevi, though I ended up not buying the top because that hand is only the edge of one and looks...odd, hanging there in the air if you are not wearing the pants from the set.. The one thing I wish Vevi would consider doing next time though is including some masculine pieces. Even Royale, which so far as I can tell is a purely lolita line, has ouji stuff for the boys and enbies that don't want to do femme to wear. Yes, jeans and a t-shirt are technically 'unisex' but bigger people have more obvious curves and big men are often shaped differently from big girls.)

@Amber - Well, yes, it obviously doesn't work that way, and your explanation makes sense... but I was thinking about how it works in real boutiques, like Angelic Pretty (a lolita brand) -- they will bring back old designs if people request them but they never carry all their old designs at once and they only carry a few seasons' worth of designs.

Not loving this one but there's been worse sets. Love the hair, the magma bits and the tails. The floaties are... alright. Kinda B-tier. Would've been better had they too been on fire/glowing from the heat but overall, not bad. Funny how the other sets are dying on my birthday tho :joy:
@Thia No, it's not just you though that seems to be the look they're going for.

Do the eyes and eyebrows look crooked/lopsided to anyone else? And we have mouths that look almost exactly like that one. I wish we could have more smiles (though I guess a smile wouldn't really be fitting in this case).
The tails, the top, the bottom, the makeup...I do really like all of those (even though the multiple tails doesn't really make sense, since that experiment only has one, but the multiple tails do look cooler than if it was just one).

So cool! Wearable experiment fashion is dope. Honestly any pet or minion themed outfits are fun to see. It's hella on brand and gives the artists room to shine.

whoops, there's only 4 now. Still that's a lot. To keep her shop up-to-date I feel like Esmeralda should really only be stocking the latest release from each of her designers.

there are currently five Lyrical lines in the shop. Any chance that any of those is going to retire soon, please?

Ooh, I've been wondering when we were going to get a new set! I like the idea of a designer similar to Lyrical but for experiments. Can't wait to see what else the artist comes up with :)
