Tbh this is why a warning would have been useful. If there's a question of when it's going to happen, even calendar to calendar, then it's just practical to have a heads up on when exactly Subeta is makin' the change, since we will have to wait until next year for the items. Just my two cents in the vein of site QOL.

even on typical years i miss the season change, so i have learned to buy what i need asap when it swaps over because no amount of telling me from any source will make me remember 😭✌️

Not that it matters, I'll get missing winter quest stuff next time round. Yet I am more than confused: I checked google earlier and my calendars right now - just to verify I'm not completely bonkers. Everything claims, Spring starts tomorrow, on the 20th.

The art on the dragon body is beautiful, but it makes me wish we had the whole dragon as a companion instead, or in addition. As it is, it just doesn't really work as part of the HA's body imo. But even if that wasn't the case I'd still like to have a dragon companion that looks like that anyway. Just because it's so pretty.

I burned through all of my quest points (I had SO MANY) and still didn't get all the winter stuff. Always next year! I know that I'm looking at a couple years of work to get through the Morostide TP and Egg achievements anyways LOL

@Jess, I'm fully aware that I could've bought the items sooner, so I'm certainly not blaming Amber, but in my defense, for the past few years there has been a reminder every single time. I was expecting the same this year. Expectations of a reminder have been set. I'm clearly not the only one....

NOOOOOOO I saved up all my quest points to buy all the winter seasonal stuff on the last day so I could plan out and make sure I got everything I wanted 😭 I was sure that spring was on the 20th every year, I didn't know it ever changed

@Amber Soon in my mind doesn't mean tomorrow. It means in a few days. You could've said tomorrow in the news post.... Last year it was 'just around the corner' on the 16th, with a warning saying it will start on the 20th... The year before that there was a post on the 18th saying explicitly spring will start on the 20th...
The lack of an explicit warning when it would happen kind of sucks. Especially if it's a non-fixed date and not everyone has a spring equinox warning up, people won't know when it is. Being given a clear head's up would've been nice.... .__.

I got confused at seeing these items in the directory because I thought it was a bit early. I agree with what @Ziorac said, usually there is a news post at least a few days before telling us when the seasonal items will change. Any particular reason why they're early? Is it a holiday on the actual start of Spring or something? (I know Keith and Amber are Jewish).
