THROWBACK TO FIGHTING
The following challengers are back and can be found under the 'Throwback' tab: Ping, Mini Gelatin, Two-Headed Dysfunctional Teddy Bear, Rain Sylph, King Chelon, Bloodred Golem, Mortaurus, Panzer Hydra, Pylot Attacks!, Cozcoatl, Bonesaw, Vintage Prodigy, Crawbeast, and Gelatin Stomper!

@gemajgall Freezing also helps a lot against the Stomper. Cold Blast Scrolls are ideal (made from scroll pieces from defeating Mama Mush and Daemon 75 times), but Shriek of Despair works just fine. I would equip as many as you can fit to try and keep him frozen for as long as possible. Other than that, I used multiple Parched Baguette Crystal and Blessing of Natural Armor Crystal on my weapons to help prevent him from freezing or stealing from me.
I wish we could get some of these challengers as pets. I wish we could get god and goddess pets based on folklore
Got all the way to the Stomper, yay--I don't have patience for that stealing even though according to the forums I'm running a good set and a have a high enough stat pet.
@PrincessJudith Jess has a post here that shows the loot for each challenger. I have a short list of Panzer Hydra, Pylot, Rain Sylph and King Chelon give stat boosters beyond 10 wins.
How do you know what loot is dropped after 10 battles? Who should be battle more than 10 times???
@stars_water No problem! If you have any other pets with training, they’ll count toward the achievement too. Spreading it out among multiple pets is slightly easier than getting all of those wins with just one. Best of luck!
I have managed 600 wins in one day, but it's only gonna get more tedious and strenuous on my arms from here.
For how long is "a limited time"? I've discovered I sincerely need to beat the snot out of Mini Gelatin, for that beautiful Gelatin Slayer sword! But 2,500 times is a lot of battles in a few days hah.
yay! giving me a good excuse to continue to stay inside (on the 17th consecutive day of 0 sunlight hours while i live 💔) and smack some pixels around, including finally getting my 10 wins on the 5-headed panzer hydra. just sad i can't quite beat Cozcoatl yet as (as everyone else has already said) that artwork is just stunning~
Gonna quote others in saying that the Cozcoatl is the most beautiful creature onsite. I wish we had an island pet color so that our pets could have a similar aesthetic. :o <3
