Cash Shop: Shrinkwrapped Clothing!

Shrinkwrapped Delish Pi Set
Shrinkwrapped Delish Mocha Set

A new designer, Delish has decided her line is too upscale even for the Subeautique and has put it straight into the Cash Shop.

Luckily, you can purchase the pieces separately, or choose to buy them together in the Shrinkwrapped Delish Pi Set or Shrinkwrapped Delish Mocha Set for a little less CSC!

If it's going to make you feel like a tool, or like you're being cheated, run far far away. Just like if you were buying a stained used shirt from a guy on the street corner, you need to decide if the item meets your expectations of value.

I think it's very obvious why SubQ clothes are highly priced. There's no marketing scheme about it. And if you really want to get down to it, I'm sure an artist or two would be willing to tell you what type of silken pixels they used to make the line, so you don't feel cheated. The wigs are questionable though, but we'll assume that they are just hair clippings from salons celebrities frequent. Britney Spears dropped A LOT when she rampaged, it had to go somewhere.

This is also not comparable to a costume trunk in my mind. Most of the trunks are very obviously based off of themes that aren't just really great designer clothes, and that's where this differs. And like Keith said, already there are trunks that aren't holding their own weight in dollars.

What would some of you rather happen: he changes up all the trunks to make sure they are actually of value, or he introduces a couple highly priced clothing lines?

I'm not really sure how you've been tricked into a marketing scheme. The only marketing these clothes have had is a news post.

As I said, there are lots of options in the cash shop. Some things are inexpensive, some things are going to be expensive. If you choose not to purchase the expensive items, that's fine. If you choose to purchase them, that's fine also.

The prices will not be changing.

there you go, even though I did argue over it and even purchased two items I will stand by this quote because not only is it true but it basically claims it bull!
AH SHIT. I love these. I don't mind the spendy spendy because they are 1) Beautiful 2) "designer". XD Plus, I would be spending that much on the wig anyway if it was a DP wig or wearable, so WHO THE FUCK CARES.

<img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" /> IT IS PRETTY
@Jeryn

having something that is expensive because it's of exceptional quality or rarity can feel good, yes, as shallow as that makes me sound, I'll admit to it... I have a rare watch that I love to wear... even though it doesn't mean shit to anyone but me

however, having something expensive just for the sake of being expensive (no discernible added value) does not, it makes me feel like a tool for buying into a marketing scheme
Scratch what I just said, Pi has 10 items while Mocha has 12. alright alright... <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/smiley_xface.gif" border="0" />
I feel like both sets, Pi and Mocha, male and female, should be the same price...

Starfish - they're more expensive because they're 'designer' and people tend to know or go by certain brands and buy from them. SubQ and its designers is meant to be couture.

OH MY GOD this is instantly my favourite line. ♥
Thank you so much whoever drew this!
Ok to those saying that chic clothing (like for example a $900 skirt) is always more expensive --- isn't there typically a reason for that? For instance, there is a higher quality fabric used? Something that is softer, or more rare, or handcrafted? Or it is sewn to last a lifetime as opposed to what you'd find on a rack at Macy's or Target or Walmart? Something more tangible than just the designer's name? Exclusivity maybe? The point I'm trying to make is, these new subQ are not in more limited quantities than even the ones in the subQ shop, since anyone can buy as may as they want of them... at least as far as I can tell they can be as un-limited as any other item of clothing. So they aren't any more exclusive than MCT clothes, which are cheaper. Also, the "fabric" is of the same quality as ever other wearable on the site and costs no more no create. So.... my question then, is where is the added price justified compared to an item in an MCT?
I'm not trying to argue, I'm trying to understand.

And no, I wouldn't spend $900 on a skirt, If I had that kind of money I'd be out on vacation right now having fun on the beach instead of in my house playing Subeta <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />
oooooooooooooommmmmmmmgggggggggggggg..... beautiful!!!
Sometimes having something REALLY EXPENSIVE just feeeeels goooood. Yknow?

This is one of those.
LOVETHOSEEYES
These are so awesome c: I like them all together but individually the pieces seem so thin <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/smiley_sadface.gif" border="0" />
I think I'll get a few with my CSC left over from a few weeks ago ^^;;

As for the complaints about the price;
Complaining about the amount of CSC needed to buy them is kind of silly. I understand that you want to be able to afford them all, but it's very realistic to be priced in such a way. Chic clothing is ALWAYS expensive, and while most of it is gorgeous its unattainable because it costs alot. Only in real life people don't spend the time to complain about this, they just accept the fact that they can't afford it and instead look for things they can. It should be no different here, it's not the job of the staff to make sure that everyone can have everything they want. Being elusive only makes it more unique C:

/rant.
um ok is everyone rich but me cus ya i cant afford that much csc??? O_o two words NOT FAIR!!!
These are some nice items and I would consider buying them if they were cheaper, but there's no way I'd spend this much on them when some costume trunks give out twice as many items for half the price. :/
Pie
@starfish I personally think paying $900 for an article of clothing is silly.

Either way my point still stands. Chic clothes are more expensive. That's how fashion works.
also, comparing buying these to buying ACTUAL clothes that you can touch and wear is a bit silly, yeah?
These look awesome!
I'm really glad we can buy the pieces separately <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" />
For now I'll only get the male wig because of the prices, but I'll probably end up buying a few more items later
LOVE! @ @
Set is beautiful! <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> I will be trying to earn more csc for this.
Gorgeous items, but suck for the people who can't afford it.
Thank god my HA isn't going to be changing, because I have to agree the prices are a little ridiculous. But ahhh, the world has always catered to the wealthy, no one can help it if we're not in the group of customers subeta wants to cater to now. Forget us users with no money, right?
gotta agree with @kask on a lot of her commentary, and the prices make me a bit uncomfortable. Yeah, I know, the gift of fashions past exists, it's not really any different yada yada. I'm not trying to be stingy with the site. Every month I spend quite a bit here. So, please don't accuse me of being cheap or of not supporting the site when I question the pricing of these items. It just strikes me as odd how their price is so much higher than the MCTs for essentially the same thing (rare wears)?

That said, they are lovely outfits and I'm sure to try and get them at some point, just not a month when there's a chance bag <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />
SO BEAUTIFUL. I WANT.

Not everyone lives in U.S which means not everyone has tons of CSC offers to do (for example I have only 2, and one of the websites offering is blocked by my country so it's only one offer which requires a purchase of $30 to get 320 CSC).

Just saying.

Other than that, I think the sets are amazing and I'm definitely planning on getting most of the items. (:
I'm torn. I can definitely buy both trunks next week, but I can afford a couple of pieces now. I don't know what to do XD
awww very nice , i buy the wig for 4,3mill SP and understand not, thats peoples write, it is to expensive.. i know another prices for wigs from the Subeautique .
Pie
I think the prices are fair, considering this line is meant to be all super fancy. Do people walk into chic stores in New York just to yell about a skirt costing $900? O:
Ouch. Surprised to see these cost more than a Costume Trunk. Seems I'll have to be choosy about which pieces to buy. Gorgeous sets though.
Wow some of you are acting like there aren't ways to earn CSC for free or anything.
NICE! _
Omg. Separates. THIS IS EPIC. I usually dont want a full trunk's worth of items and get stuck trying to sell them. I AM LOVING THIS.
Freeeeeeeeakin' A. Those are some kickass clothes.
MUST. SAVE. 2250CSC.
Just to be clear. If we buy the full "trunk" item, we'll get all the wearables in that set right?
The prices, jesus christ.
But they are very awesome sets.
YYYYYYYYEAAAAAA THE SECOND I BUY CSC I'M GETTING THESE FUCKASSSS. ♥
Awesomeness!!!
THIS
SET
IS
AWESOME
Ora
Lol I buy 12 dollar shirts 5 at a time. If you really want something you'll find a way to afford it. Thank you, artists+Keith for the beautiful items. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_happy.gif" border="0" />
Well, they are expensive, but I think the prices are okay, especially considered that you can buy them seperately and not only the whole set. I got myself the ones I like most, I might get the rest later when I got some more money ^^

But I wanted to say: FABULOUS JOB! Awesome items, awesome artwork, awesome sets. Me = <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_heart.gif" border="0" />
Woah.. expensive sets <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/smiley_sadface.gif" border="0" />

I think I'll just wait to buy them in user shops.
Delish Pi is Delish <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" />
I just want to say you're expecting too much of us, we love wearables but jesus.

now all thats left to the list is expiring items, hope you dont take that route as well.

putting the argument to the side, I say the set for the male is awesome, female as well.
thanks.
WANT.
Everyone is complaining about these prices but they are actually very reasonable when you consider how much the more popular Subeautique pieces sell for. Argo Blackout Liquid Liner for example will run you about 11million sP. You can buy a 500 credit gift card for 8-9 million sp if you can not afford/choose not to purchase CSC with real money that 500 credits is enough for either both wigs or any 4 of the other items. If anything this set is a pretty good deal.

As for the set it self they are lovely <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> I hope to be able to pick them up from the cash shop soon.
Want. 8)
Gorgeous wears but the prices are really high. I think I'll have to wait until the black friday sale for these. Between the chance bags and monthly DPs and costume trunks and now this set there's a lot to buy and I can't afford to spend that much money on wears on a petsite.
these clothing lines =/= costume trunks
holy hell, expensive sets <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_confused.gif" border="0" /> but I am SOSOSOSOSOSO a fan of this.
