Hallo, Liebchens! It has been a wild year for me here at the brewery. Taking care of Oatmeal has had me turning over ze new leaf, so to say. I could not quite bring myself to be working new meat recipes as I have in past years. Which is gud, because I am running out of places to keep all this sausage!
I am doing things a little differently now, much less of ze meat sausage und much more of ze plants! But I am still brewing beer und ales, of course. I am starting a new club, Gunter’s Selbstgebraute - my home brew club. There will be a new brew every month, all special, all made by me. Join my club to receive alerts when my new brew is up, und if you join during Alegarten, you will receive some extra gifts too. Otherwise, I am hoping to see you stop in from time to time in between petting my goat.
My Geschenkboutique, Food Haus and Gute Ale shop are back this year, and staying open all through Alegarten with unlimited stock - but for 5 days only! I’ll be closing up shop at 11:59pm on October 9th so I can focus on my home brew club and on Oatmeal until next Alegarten. Happy drinking!

My pet plant Lethario the Aeanoid is not sure how he feels about vegans... he doesn't seem to like the food either.
Adorable character development but the phrase "vegan wiener" has me laughing so hard I think I might pass out.
Digging the simple new shop format and loving that Gunter is a veg head now! Also totally looking forward to his beer of the month club. <3

Hahaha I don't wanna know how many times I've been dead drunk listening to that song (and not just during the football world cup 2014 to be honest) but being German means not being ashamed to say you can sing it by heart :information_desk_person:

I'm kinda wondering just why there is a 3 minute wait between buying items from the shop? I mean, it doesn't seem there is a limited stock of items so I don't quite get why the long wait. Perhaps someone can enlighten me?
I was hoping for a bunch of books, but after a world event and a holiday and with another holiday coming up I guess the artists needed a break.
I'm confused. Why am I joining the brew of the month club...and I still have to buy the brew? This isn't offering me any sort of discount, so...?

Alegarten is the time when it's alright to feel German on an all English-spreaking website :beers: The only thing we need now is some good (aka horrible) Schlager music, which you can only dance to when you are as drunk as Gunter...

We won't be adding more items for the shops (we might've only had a few new things, but we brought back older items as well that haven't had much on site), but like @Argante pointed out - it is only the first day!
Ah, interesting new idea! But I am sad that there are not many new things to wear or eat or...something. Guess we'll see how it goes! I AM ever so glad that I don't have to worry about missing the time when certain parts of the shop are open. Whew. Thank you! :)
The amount of new items is really lazy :/ I hope more are going to be added. The addition of a shop that sells one item a month doesn't exactly make up for a whole holiday. Super disappointing.
I searched for Alegarten items at Subetalodge and saw I only had a few... Just started buying... There's time between purchases. Now I know why I don't have many things from there :P
I was so hyped about Alegarten then I realized there are only 9 new items.

@Diprosopus We're switching it to itemid right now (where newest items will show first). Future reference though, check out the item directory building (which is in Centropolis)!
Kinda wish I could send Gunter an "s" for his new home brew. The bottle looks awesome though.

@Diprosopus Yes, there are. The shops are ordered by price, so you'll have to check out the item directory for the new items. There aren't a lot, but there are a few for food and clothes :)
