Thank you for the opportunity to apply for Mystica! She is a very special pet to share your very cool name. I can only imagine that it would be very difficult to work with a pet that shared your name, but also difficult to let her go. So again, thank you so much for sending her out into the big wide world to earn her wings so to speak.

I am

Pagan. I am a 50-something mother of two awesome kids faced with an empty nest. I have a calico cat and an ancient dog who is my buddy and constant companion, and a husband who is better to me than I probably deserve. I also have Parkinson's Disease which means I need help getting up and down the stairs in our house, so while my husband is at work, I am effectively bed-ridden, and Subeta is what I do. My pets are trained all day every day, they are all read to, and they are all resort kept, except my feeder pet. I have two pet spotlight winners with links at the bottom of the app.

My goal is to have custom artwok, custom overlays, and custom profiles for each of my pets. This is, however, expensive, so my pets do not get completed as fast as I would like. I had this art made, and it has been 'looking for a pet' and I feel that Mysteria is a perfect fit. I would have an artist make a simpler version for an overlay for her, and both the art and the overlay would be modified to include wings. As this is an app, I do not have time to create a complete story, so I present here a character sketch for Mysteria, the Enchantress...

Mysteria the Enchantress is a hammadryad, that is, she is the spirit of a tree. In this case she is the spirit of the magnificent Ikumoradeekanox. She uses her beautiful singing voice to encourage the tree to grow, to heal it of any sickness, and to bring birds and bees to pollinate it. She is most proud of her ability to sing the Ikumoradeekanox's many lucious (and gross) fruits to ripeness at the perfect time.Since each tree only has one hammadryad, and Ikumoradeekanox is huge with many fruits ripening all the time Mysteria is often tired. Even beings as magical as tree spirits get weary if the work is too great. The actual story will be of how Mysteria finds a lost minion wandering in Pina Park under the branches of her great tree. She will try in vain to find the owners of the minion, to no avail.

All the while she is trying to find the owners of the minion, the minion itself is making itself more and more at home in the branches of Ikumoradeekanox. Soon it begins performing little tasks like bringing Mysteria's slippers and the newspaper. {Obviously the minion needs to be a species with wings, not sure what, but if you wanted to pick, you certainly can!}

Ultimately Mysteria realizes that the minion is looking for a home. She names it and teaches it to help her. She is no longer weary, the minion is no longer lost, and the Ikumoradeekanox hums with the cycles of life of a great tree. I would also link the word Ikumoradeekanox in the profile to the actual daily so people would remember to go pick their fruit as a gift from Mysteria.
