Once I saw the light of the screen flash on and the hairless biggers were there. They laughed and pointed at me as I tried to stand fall stand fall and fall and fall again. Then the screen went dark and the hairless biggers were not here.
When again the screen lit, there were only hairful smallers like me, or not like me. Hairless smallers of any kind and the cute tiny ones, and the biting cruel tiny tiny ones. To all I could see there were no hairless biggers at all, only us, all crowded and hungry, so hungry.
After a long I think time, a hairless bigger came. The cries and yelps of all the hairful smallers were so loud and piercing my ears were hurt, but we were so crowded that I could not even bury my ears beneath my paws. The hairless bigger had only one small bucket of food. Bad food, Not enough food for so many.
Many days passed. Many hairful smallers fell where they stood, but if from hunger, fear, or despair...to tell that there is no way.Sometimes the hairless bigger would take out one. When tooken out, they never came back.
Several times a day many more hairful smallers were crammed into the cage.We cried all day and all night from fear, from hunger, from the awful cries. Eventually I could cry no more. I fell silent and no longer tried to push when the small bucket came. I stood and waited for the screen to go off.
After many long times, the hairless bigger snatched me from the cage. I did not claw or bite the hairless bigger. I thought my screen would now go dark. I no longer feared the screen going dark. But the screen did not go dark. I was in a new place with many others. But not so many. There was not enough food, but just a bit less than enough.
When the screen brightened in the day and before the screen darkened in the night I was taken to the scary hairless bigger. He would leash me tightly and then a zapping would happen. It hurt me, but he did not care. Sometimes I would feel strong or brave after the painful zaps. Sometimes I was a different shape. Sometimes I had no hair or fur, and sometimes too much.
The screen brightened and darkened many times.Then I was taken to a better place. I was given food enough. I was given a cute tiny one of my own. And it had a cruel teeny one of its own. Together we lived in a funny old place with many rooms. We played boats together. I exercised and grew strong enough to fight. I fought every day.
Often the hairless bigger would draw me. I was loved. Many hairless biggers said they liked my drawings. The liked my story. My hairless bigger would show me trophies I had won for being drawn, trophies I had won for the outfits I picked for myself for other things, but I do not remember them all.
But one day as a new art of me was being shown, I heard a hairless bigger who was not my hairless bigger. She was angry at me for being alive there. She was angry that I had art and clothes and a cute tiny and prizes and trophies.
The shrieking hairless bigger said my hairless bigger would be retorted. My hairless bigger cried and asked her to not retort me, she said I was good and deserved nice things, and that if I was dirty at all it was only a very little dirty.
The last thing I heard was my hairless bigger crying, and the screen went dark though it was not night.
After very long, I woke here. My hairless bigger was here, too. I have come to understand that I have been reintarnated.
