Mallana is a strange one. Not only is she evil - and aspiring to be more evil than the two squabbling boys - but she has it in her head that she isn't an experiment, but a tyrannical alien beast from outer space. This leads her to roaring uncontrollably into the sky, attempting to meld into the shadows, attempting to shapeshift into the forms of other creatures, and snacking on other pets. So far she has been unsuccessful in the latter - any pet with half a brain could see she's unstable and therefore unapproachable.
Her minion found her on his own - she was ranting about taking over the world to her shadow, when he just flittered in and perched on her shoulder, grinning evilly. She took an immediate liking to him, promising him a place in her new world order and a pact never to eat him even if she was starving. He serves as her outside ears and eyes when she isn't bothered to lurk herself, flying near Omnios' lab (not too close, otherwise he'd be captured and dissected) and Ezri Dax's caravan to bring back juicy details and maybe even some of their items. They haven't caught either experiment nor minion at it yet.
Her interests are very simple - food and evil. She loves food, more specifically meat, and if she had the strength, living meat. She isn't picky, as long as it's meat. Likewise, in evil, she isn't dead set on one way or another, unlike the two males and their science or magic. As long as she's causing someone pain and ruining someone's life, she's just as happy as if she was snacking on cherry gummy hearts.
For the most part, no one will associate with her, so she's left with herself, Shadow, and her actual shadow to take over Subeta with.
