His name is the best description for him - despair. He's despondent, depressed, and is constantly choked up by a variety things from something as simple to someone stepping on his paw to narrowly escaping becoming a Kumos kebab by either Ezri Dax or Mallana. Whatever it is, he's cried because of it at least once. Despite his depression, he's a genuinely nice, submissive pup, and only wants to be loved rather than locked in the madhouse loosely called his home.

One day while languishing in part of the home lovingly nicknamed "the emo corner" (where Despairs always went to have a good cry), the sound of cute little bunny feet hopping up met his ears. He glanced up, hoping to see something like Sankeric's Snowbunnies.. and was face to face with a nightmarish little creature instead. His screams could be heard from Atebus. And no matter how much he tries to lose the scary little critter, it always follows him home. He's even tried to get Omnios to dissect it - and it came right back to him, needles and all.

His interests include crying, voodoo dolls, and talking despondently to his Dark Matter. He tried writing goth poetry once, but cried too much writing it and ruined the paper, so he's never bothered to do that again. He doesn't have the heart to hate anything, but he'd rather not have that Bunnyep stalking him, or the experiment with huge eyes staring at him..
