Queenie buzzed around the shop, taking one last look at her displays before she opened for the day. She was a stickler when it came to details, needing every product to be lined up just so and color-coded besides.

Opening the coffee cake and tea shop had long been her dream. The successful CEO of Bumbus Hives, Inc. for nearly thirty years, she'd thought long and hard about giving up her old life in Subeta's corporate world for her greatest passion. It had been a challenge to quit the desk and say farewell to those wonderful workers who had supported her and seen her through the years.

She knew she'd made the right decision the day she made her first sale. Seeing a customer's face light up when he bit into a Harmonious Honey Coffee Cake slice had made her heart glow with pride.

She got fantastic deals on all her raw ingredients. She knew plenty of manufacturers, not just in the honey industry but in natural foods, fresh produce and sustainable coffee as well. On top of being a shrewd business bumbus, she also believed strongly in protecting the environment as much as possible. One could make profits and save the planet. It was the motto of Queenie's Coffee. It was more than just pretty words. It was her mission.

She was a contributor to the organizers of Neugarten. She consulted with Esther to come up with wonderful new Vesnali products that would lure citizens from every corner of the globe. She'd helped organize a contract between the Recycle Beast, Emma and Liz to help eliminate food waste and get the most possible use out of products that would otherwise end up in a heap in Riverside.

She's also a big believer in the power of kindness. She organizes a toy drive at Luminaire so that every child in Subeta, regardless of wealth, has a new toy to play with on that magical morning. She frequently volunteers for Charity, helping sort and distribute donated foods. When disaster strikes, she's one of the first few on the scene, ready to pass out blankets and cups of freshly brewed coffee.

She's been recognized as one of Subeta's most influential young entrepreneurs and has the crystal trophy to prove it but this is not her prized possession.

That honor goes to a little rag doll in the shape of a bumbus that was given to her by her grandmother many years ago. She literally loved the stuffing right out of that doll and had to learn to piece it back together, time and time again. It sits on its own little shelf at the center of her mantle, a daily reminder of her humble beginnings that never fails to make her smile.
