Heat was born into royalty. Funny enough, this was as prince of the Fire Isles, a stretch of islands that contained a mighty breed of fire elementals. Heat's blood ran steaming hot and his stature was large, much like his mighty father. Heat spent many years feeling trapped by his nobility & the water that surrounded his people.
That was until the tsunami hit the isles.

Heat's father, Ignit was snuffed out in the tsunami. His father stood to be his closest friend all these years. Without him, Heat was lost. On this day, it's said that Heat did something that fire elementals were not known to have done for thousands of years. Heat unleashed a torrent of blue flames from his maw & in a fit of rage, punched down a tower of his newly inherited castle.
In fire elemental tradition, Heat's tail was snapped thrice in the form of a triangle to signify his place in society & he was adorned with a cape made from the pelt of his father, as his grandfather before him.
Heat has gone silent to the rest of the world, no longer sending out notification after the death of his father. What could be wrong? Only time will tell.

Heat relies heavily on comfort food, incapable of reaching out to anyone in this time of distress. His tastes have become at times absurd. Fine delicacies and extravagant desserts as one would expect from a king, followed by raw meats or uncooked doughs and batters, molded foods, bone meal, blood, and the horrors continue. Some speculate that he takes his prisoners for live meals or opts to cook them alive himself with his incredible powers of flame. Much like any cat, Heat plays with his prey.
